• Ascertains that guest check is accurate. Processes check to POS per hotel procedures.
• Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• Supplements the butler and stewarding and helps in clearing and resetting the tables.
• Performs all assigned side work to include replenishing and requisitioning condiments and service supplies (China, flat and glass wares) and restocking shelves.
• Organizes all orders and requisitions of linen and cleaning supplies.
• Performs other duties as requested, such as answering telephone and taking room service orders and handling special guest requests according to The Boca Raton guidelines.
• Responsible for keeping IRD area in working order and clean / organized.
• Prepares all amenities for guest room deliveries and coordinates delivery times with butlers.
• Attends required meetings.
• Has a thorough working and understanding knowledge of IRD Forbes Five Stars standards and processes.

Safety Requirements

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is the employee’s responsibility to report defective, damaged, or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to the Manager.

Internal Relationships

Support service staff – IRD order takers, butlers, culinary, stewards & restaurant management.

External Relationships

Has occasional contact with hotel guests.

Qualifications
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and menu
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language sufficient to understand menus, special promotions, record orders, and communicate with guests to explain and record
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu
• Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout
• Ability to operate beverage and toast

Education
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prefer six (6) months to one-year previous serving experience. Prior hospitality experience
• Must obtain any government required licenses or certificates. Examples include a Washington Health Card Permit; Oregon Liquor Service Permit; Alcohol Service Permit. CPR certification and/or 1st Aid Training

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.

About the Position:

Under the direction, the Field Service Manager, the Service Technician is responsible for installing and repairing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) installations for various end-users.

Key responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation and integration of new and replacement equipment as required
• Supervision of in-road and roadside civil construction activities
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure installations, repairs and service are performed in accordance with IRD standards
• Provide unparalleled customer service excellence
• Adhere to Corporate safety and quality policies
• Maintain company vehicles to ensure excellent working conditions, cleanliness and adhere to regular maintenance schedule
• Provide routine maintenance and emergency service work to installed equipment as outlined in the service contracts

Requirements

About You:
• General knowledge of software and hardware applications with a focus on Linux/Unix & Microsoft Windows-based environment
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent work record of self-motivation, judgment, productivity, and safety
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate basic hand tools such as grinders, drills, meters crimping pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze hardware and system operation problems using tools of the trade
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
