Table Tennis is an Olympic and Paralympic sport and is in the programme of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games as well as of all Multisport Games.
The ITTF is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Coordinator. This position requires a vibrant, organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, fun desk-top environment. The ITTF Group Coordinator will be supporting the Group CEO’s Office Manager in planning, scheduling, coordinating various projects and events within the Group CEO’s Office.
LOCATION: The position will be based in the ITTF Asia-Pacific offices in Singapore. Applicants should be willing to work as required, rather than regular office hours, due to the nature of the work required for the job.
LINE MANAGER: The ITTF Group Coordinator will report to the Manager of the ITTF Group CEO Office.
DUTIES :
• Assist with working on complex assignments, requiring agile solving ability and good integrity
• Assist in preparing presentation materials and reports pre and post meetings
• Plan & execute the organisation's events and activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with calendar scheduling and travel management of the leadership team
• Assist with protocol of the ITTF Group events and meetings
• Independent and trustworthy in executing a range of routine and complex administrative duties to support the CEO's office team
• Assist in drafting and responding to official communication to dignitaries, elected officials, partner and member organisations
• Taking on the role of Protocol Officer during important events; such as organising schedules, activities, providing directions and guiding staff and guests
• Proactive in ensuring various projects and tasks are followed up and completed within deadlines with quality deliverables
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Candidates for the position should demonstrate:
Essential Criteria
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; Fresh graduates are welcome
• University degree or higher qualification highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Highly intelligent with a positive attitude
• Logical and analytical in approach with a problem-solving attitude
• Comfortable with multi-tasking and managing tight and overlapping timelines
• Resilient in withstanding pressure and delivering efficiently
• Proactive, independent, adaptable, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Looking to add value to process improvements and standardization
• Ability to work well under pressure with a high level of motivation and tenacity
• Ability to cope with the fluid nature of the role
• Proactive in seeking guidance and willing to continuously contribute
