As a Lead Account... Executive, you will be on the front-lines of our business to help build Jobscan’s B2B clientele base across our target industries like universities, non-profit, governments, and businesses. Jobscan has grown its consumer business steadily over the years, but we have a consistent flow of universities and organizations asking for our business. This is a tremendous opportunity to grow your career by developing a sales business from its infancy with a product people are already raving about. You’ll use your prior sales experience to gain an understanding of our target customer-base and develop strategies for gaining their business through a combination of research and outreach.
This role will report to Jobscan’s CEO and will work closely with marketing, product and engineering departments. This position will provide a unique opportunity for personal development and career advancement within an organization defining the future of job search.
$70,000 - $85,000 base salary + commission
• Work with the CEO and the team to develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive growth for the company
• Identify and target new customer segments to expand the company's market share and increase revenue
• Prospect, email, call, and close deals along with account executives
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering solutions to meet those needs
• Manage a sales team and provide coaching and support to help them achieve their targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, marketing, and customer success to develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead of the curve
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
• Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate new leads and promote the company's products and services.
Requirements
• Not afraid to pick up the phone. You will be expected to make cold calls.
• Proven track record as the top salesperson in ambiguous environments.
• Experience developing and growing a new market or new segment types from scratch that generates more than $500k/year
• 1-3 years of experience leading a sales team

• A natural hunter
• Ability to manage every step of the sales cycle: sales development, discovery, and closing.
• Ability to build strong personal relationships.
• Experience negotiating and navigating contracts.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have
• Experience in other areas of enterprise sales like SDR, account management, and sales operations is a plus.
• Experience at a technology startup selling SaaS.
• Experience selling to complex organizations like enterprises, governments, education, healthcare sectors.
• Formal and informal sales leadership experience a plus.

We are looking for a smart, driven, enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of job search tools. You’ll join our engineering team, delivering new features and improving existing tools for our growing user base. You’ll use modern and proven technologies to help us exceed our user’s expectations and scale our tools to an increasingly global audience, working in a fast-paced environment and reporting directly to our CTO. What You’ll Be Doing:
• Build new features and enhance existing areas of our tools mainly using Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, MySQL, AWS, and sometimes jQuery, Java, and Python.

• Work closely with business, marketing, and content teams to understand the future business direction with the goal of architecting the platform optimally for extensibility and feature delivery.

• Help foster an environment of engineering excellence through coaching and mentoring.
• Increase team productivity with improvements to our CI/CD processes and infrastructure.

• Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to web technologies, cloud computing, machine learning (ML), and automated unit testing.

• Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (Vue/React/Angular).
