The Lincoln Journal Star is seeking an assistant city editor to join the team of the premier news source in Nebraska’s capital city.In this key leadership position, you’ll work alongside the online editor and a team of reporters and photographers focused on accurate coverage of breaking news as well as engaging readers through enterprising reporting and use of social media and other digital-first tools. You’ll also lead our efforts to expand video coverage, working with local journalists and collaborating with newsrooms across the Midwest.

Are you ready?

If so, this may be the job for you! The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience reporting or editing for a digital-first newsroom.
