Responsibilities:
• Generate and qualify leads through cold-calling, relationship selling, referral activity and lead follow-up. Convert leads into qualified sales pipeline, providing detailed product knowledge to share in appropriate form with potential leads.
• Drive demand in assigned territory through focused telephone campaigns, workshops, webinars, mass emails, and other innovative demand generation activities.
• Research, develop, and maintain an understanding of assigned territory, including prospects and existing partners in the within territory.
• Assist partners with identifying and reallocating new budget sources to increase spending on digital content.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on customer retention, including being proactive in managing the contract renewal process.
• Maintain data on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis regarding pipeline, prospects, and partner information into Salesforce.
• Participate in weekly meetings with management to present progress toward goals and collaborate on sales strategies.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2 – 5+ years’ of consultative sales experience.
• Outbound sales call and account management experience.
• Confident, proactive, and energetic; professional and team-oriented sales approach.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Team player.
• Outstanding Microsoft Office skills.
• Working knowledge of publishing, library and / or school industries preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Managing Process: Ensures all operations procedures are followed effectively, and identifies and recommends needed changes to Operations Manager and/or General Manager on the standardized processes for the functional area. Evaluates and analyzes current work methods and recommends ways to eliminate inefficiencies.

· Coaching and Developing Associates: Guides associates in daily operations, and monitors to ensure a high degree of productivity, safety, service and quality. Responsible for the training, coaching and feedback of hourly associates, and performs regular evaluations of associates through factual data and subjective observations. Uses discretion to provide coaching and counseling to associates regarding job performance, methods of performing job tasks. Resolves associate relations issues that arise in assigned functional area. Responsible for hiring, compensation, discipline, and terminations of hourly associates in assigned department. Investigates operational errors to determine the cause and recommends corrective action where needed.

· Drives Results: Maintains inventory accuracy and control; reviews reports and identifies area of improvement for key metrics including productivity, accuracy, quality and expenses.

· Business Planning: Coordinates and monitors operations with the functional area to ensure performance production rates are consistent with business plan and pattern, reducing irregularities and damages. Reviews reports and business metrics to analyze and plan staffing needs for optimum department operations.

· Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager or General Manager.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

· This position typically reports to the Operations Manager.

· This position is accountable for the direct supervision of the work activities of others. Planning, monitoring, and reviewing work of subordinates is required. This may include direct supervision of a shift or the coordination of multiple work groups. Makes recommendations concerning selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.

Physical Requirements:

· Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in using a Computer and Software - the Warehouse Management System to select/allocate and process orders on a daily basis. Pick/Pack is performed using application running on Phones and Desktop Computers.
• Proficiency in creating reports on Excel

Working Conditions:

· Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
