• * Candidates must have an Active Utah Brokers License**
Remote, Part-Time Real Estate Instructors are responsible for all aspects of live online course delivery for UT Real Estate courses. These individuals will serve as subject matter experts and student advocates while delivering exceptional live online classroom experiences to Kaplan students.
Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as a real estate industry expert
• Demonstrate excellent teaching skills and ability to engage students in the virtual classroom
• Maintain a strong focus on mentoring and driving student success
• Effectively manage virtual classroom dynamics
• Address student questions throughout live online classes and follow up as requested
• Run class time schedule in accordance with established itinerary and state regulations
• Provide appropriate handouts and course material as needed to students
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures, and operates within the state and
national regulations at all times
• Maintain regular communication with management to stay informed of scheduling,
curriculum updates, and course changes
Requirements:
• Active UT Real Estate License
• 5+ years of industry experience in real estate
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft suite
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to effectively utilize technology and troubleshoot when necessary
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Strong presentation and teaching skills
• Experience teaching online and writing course content is a plus
Since this is a remote position, Instructors must meet our minimum technical requirements: 5 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload speed, a stable cable connection to the internet, a pc or laptop running Windows 7 or higher, or Mac OS X.1 or higher and a USB headset.
