Education Academic Program Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as a project manager for various Career and Technical

Education (CTE) initiatives.
• Serve as data steward for Office of Career and Technical

Education , supervise the collection of career readiness data that is provided to Office of Assessment and Accountability; performs other duties as required.
• Serves as data steward for Office of Career and Technical

Education (Infinite Campus Projects related to Career and Technical

Education (CTE),Technical

Education Database System (TEDS), career readiness and retention).
• Manages the collection of career readiness data for Kentucky Department of

Education .
• Manages the progress of Office of Career and Technical

Education . initiatives and priorities.
• Serves on various cross-functional Kentucky Department of

Education teams representing Office of Career and Technical

Education .
• Serves as a liaison between the Office of Career and Technical

Education and Office of Assessment and Accountability.
• Supervise Data Staff, ensuring the State-wide contract for on-line skill standards assessment program are being met.
• Supervises and conducts performance evaluations and authorizes and approves leave of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System.

The salary for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with education and experience of the successful candidate.

Applicants currently under contract with a local school district are required to provide a written release from their superintendent prior to an offer of employment will be given.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

SKILLS:

Four years of administrative or management experience

Substitute EDUCATION for

EXPERIENCE:

A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience

Substitute EXPERIENCE for

EDUCATION:

Additional administrative, management, or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year- for-year basis.
