Night Shift Supervisor

Position Summary

This position is responsible for supervising the Load Securement Associate team and ensuring all policies, procedures and safety measures are followed at all times

Pay: $20 - $22

Schedule
• Monday - Friday
• 10:00pm - 6:00am

Roles & Responsibilities
• Adhere to all 1955 Services policies and procedures (safety, attendance, etc)
• Supervise the Load Securement Associate team and ensure safety is a priority at all times
• Make disciplinary recommendations to Site Manager as needed
• Fill in as a Load Securement Associate when needed
• Maintain a professional attitude and communication at all times with customers, co-workers, management, etc
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and work environment (keep equipment clean, organized, etc)
• Conduct tasks and lane assignment schedules as requested / required by the customer
• Secure loads with tarp coverings as required by customer load specifications
• Assist in the set up of loading positions and securement equipment
• Assign trailers as needed
• Inspect and clean customer preload lot as needed
• Help repair equipment (chains, binders, tarps, etc) as needed

Education & Experience
• Management/Supervisor experience preferred
• Training will be provided to conduct daily job duties

Physical Demands
• Climb up and down trailers
• Frequent lifting of approximately 75 - 100 pounds
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as; hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, protective sleeves, gloves and metatarsal boots
• Work conducted inside and outside in all weather conditions
