Position Summary & Objective

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the management of customer relationships for a defined set of customers that are most important to the company. This role provides excellent customer service to existing key customers while supporting internal Sales Directors in development of new business opportunities.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position
• Onboarding of new clients while providing exceptional experiences for new and existing Customers
• Prepare and deliver costing and pricing for re-orders of existing products to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review, analyze and ensure customer contract information accurately represents products and services to be delivered and all contracts are available
• Provide sales support by:
• Managing Samples Program for Brand (Customer) & Sales Support
• Liaising with customers to determine quarterly and annual order forecasts
• Organizing and conducting Key Account Performance & Opportunity Reviews with the sales team
• Support sales opportunities by regularly reviewing and assessing ageing and deactivated inventory, as well as collaborating with sales to find upsell opportunities
• Process orders Order Processing (overseeing processing of Key Accounts)
• Order expediting, including liaising with other OpSec facilities if required.
• Track, analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators for customers and customer care department including customer satisfaction and complaints, cost of poor quality, on time/in full delivery, US transaction information and daily & monthly sales figures and trends​
• Represent Customer Service team at various meetings including daily and weekly production planning meetings.
• Create and maintain Process Improvement & Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for US Customer Care Team & Internal Partners the department collaborates with. ​
• Provide support to Account Executives in order processing, expediting, invoicing and liaising with other OpSec facilities when necessary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at ease across all organizational levels
• Excellent numeric skills
• Excellent I.T. Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook etc
• Ability to work accurately paying close attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise workload and work under pressure
• Ability to multitask, be self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

Required Education and Experience
• Associates or Bachelors’ degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3 – 5 years’ experience performing customer care roles in fast paced, preferably manufacturing industries
• Experience and proficiency with ERP systems

Responsibilities

Education Qualifications
• High School Diploma , GED, or equivalent business experience (required)

• General understanding of PC with Windows based applications and calculator (required)
