Responsibilities & Requirements

The Culinary Associate II:
Performs basic food preparation and service tasks for retail areas, catering, ingredient room, and/or patient Room Service line. Handles food in accordance with HACCP principles and applicable food codes. Safely uses, cleans, and cares for equipment and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Accurately manages position paperwork and processes (order-taking and preparation, cash register operations, cash-ups, refrigerator and freezer temperature monitoring forms, food temperatures on serving line, weighing and measuring ingredients, Room Service records, tray time paperwork, Physician Lounge and catering event paperwork for charging, etc.)
• Follows correct hand hygiene procedures (washes hands after handling money and before handling food, uses gloves when handling ready-to-eat foods, etc.).
• Utilizes appropriate scripting and responds to patients/internal and external customers (effectively uses HEAL principle, able to describe coffee drinks and other products, knows ingredients and allergens, responds to internal customers such as Dish Room staff, Supervisors, and to each other in a way that promotes collaboration etc.).
• Effectively and safely uses position equipment, performing applicable cleaning/sanitation procedures (cleans coffee brewers, espresso machine, display equipment, grill, fryer, scales, etc.).
• Correctly date-marks food items, monitors for temperature control and follows First In First Out food storage procedures (uses FDA guidelines for dating, minimizes time TTC foods are out of refrigeration, etc.).
• Prepares, assembles, serves, cooks, or bakes food and beverages per guidelines/recipes
• As assigned, accurately handles cash and manages sales transactions through MyMicros software (routinely is ± $2.00 or less at end of sift, handles credit card and gift card transactions per guidelines, etc.).

Job Qualifications:

Able to walk and stand for long periods of time

Able to push and pull wheeled carts

Able to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions

Able to tolerate frequent temperature changes, working around equipment that generates heat, steam and cold

Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred. Food service or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

The LPN performs a wide variety of patient care duties in preparation for the physician consultation. Physician assistance in delivery of special patient needs and procedures, including minor surgery.

The LPN is responsible for:
• Takes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
• Assists patients any time need is apparent or as directed by physician
• Keeps medical records in accordance to procedures and forms
• Keeps rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
• Prepares sterilization as required
• Any other duties relating to the business operation of the medical practice that may be assigned by the physician(s) or practice office manager.

Job Requirements:
• Completed accredited program that meets nationally accepted standards
• Current LPN license in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• Experience in medical environment
• Willingness to accept orders and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to communicate and relate well with office staff, ancillary departments and public, follow direction, accept orders and perform repetitive tasks, be patient, courteous and tactful.
• Able to work under time constraints, multi-task, and work autonomously with little direction.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

• Kettering Health Troy, formerly Troy Hospital, a three-story, nearly 150,000-square-foot hospital using the latest technology and offering several outpatient services.

Under the direction of the Medical Director and the department Radiation Oncologists, works as a member of the Radiation Oncology team in the accurate treatment and simulation of patients. The radiation therapist is responsible for his/her own professional development and practices within the scope of care defined by law. Utilizing organizational resources the radiation therapist acts as a patient advocate for the delivery of safe care, including participation in performance improvement activities. The delivery of radiation treatments within the Kettering Health Network reflects the missions, vision, values, and philosophies of the organization and the department. The Radiation Therapist reports to the Department Manager.

Requirements:
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy.
• BLS certification.
