KMPH/KFRE in Fresno, California is seeking an experienced Business Manager. We are looking for someone... to oversee the Accounting in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with the management of financial reporting and general accounting functions of multiple stations and ensuring that all documentation complies with Sarbanes-Oxley, company regulations and GAAP reporting guidelines. Essential Responsibilities: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger, fixed assets, financial statements, etc. Prepare month-end journal entries, financial statements, forecasts, reports, variance analyses, etc. Review balance sheet, profit, loss statements, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position of organization for managers Coordinate implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures Interact with other organizational managers in preparing budgets, forecasts and financial information Assist in other daily projects as assigned by the Regional Controller, General Manager, and Corporate office Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum two (2) years relevant work experience in Accounting Strong organizational skills and self- motivated Excellent analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills Must be results oriented with strong accounting and financial skills Proficient in Excel Experience with Oracle preferred Ability to work in a team environment with various levels of staff Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Experience in Oracle Cloud a plus Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace! • Support quality deliverables to drive client results
• Support collection of receivables
• Build and enhance sales skills, to include effective storytelling, prospecting and relationship-building, negotiation, closing
• Develop capabilities to produce creative and effective campaigns
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Effective relationship building, customer service, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Superior business acumen with the ability to build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple complex projects at the same time
• Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a changing environment
• Ability to effectively communicate, build rapport and relate well to all kinds of people
• Capability to work with customers in a hybrid work environment and successful communication ability during virtual and in person customer settings
• Experience selling digital products/strategies including audience targeting, social media etc.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record

Responsibilities include: Work with the Promotions Director and team to plan, develop and execute the creation of production videos that drive results. Write and edit News Image, Proof of Brand, and Sweeps Story promos to run on broadcast and digital. Write and edit sports and station promotional promos to run on the broadcast. Demonstrate strong skills in shooting video footage to create high-quality content to run across multiple screens. Manage camera operation, lighting, and sound, as well as all talent direction on location or on-site. Write captivating copy targeted to your audience. Gain and maintain proficiency with creative and technical applications & software. Actively engage in multiple social media platforms. Fill the logs with promos & PSA's (back-up) Participate in station events (appearances within the community, etc.) Other responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Must be able to create, conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit cutting-edge promos while also managing deadlines. At least two years of editing experience is required. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop). Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Ability to be a team player and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and utilize social media effectively and strategically. Troubleshooting technical issues are a plus.
