An example of job duties includes but are not limited to:
• Create, organize, execute, and evaluate career development programs for all K-State Student-Athletes with a focus on building relationships with employers, alumni, Varsity K Club letter winners, community, and campus career resources; provide oversight for the student-athlete internship and mentorship programs; work to create and execute Career Tours to various employer locations and with various colleges within specific programs of study; assist with career development workshops, including but not limited to, resume writing, networking events, mock interviews; assist with preparing student-athletes for participation in University Career Fairs and various college career events. Collaborate with other members of the ECAP team for program creation, facilitation, and implementation.
• Serve as liaison to various teams to build EAC relationships with student-athletes, coaches, and various other KSA staff and departments; serve as liaison to Career Center; and includes 1-on-1 career meetings with individual student-athletes. Track data related to program participation, resume completion, post-grad plans.
• Participate in recruitment of prospective student athletes, including education to both prospects and their families on the various ECAP programming opportunities.
• Assist with the execution of Summer Bridge, First Year Seminar, and Orientation sessions; provide support to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, assist as needed with student-athlete affinity groups, as well as DEIB efforts.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in academic or career advising, college student development, or related field in education, academic principles, or sport management
• Minimum one to two years' experience in intercollegiate athletics and success working directly with a culturally diverse student-athlete population
• Previous experience in the administration of a Life Skills program or career advising with student-athletes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience and success in the organization and execution of receptions and events
