The Kansas Softball Assistant Coach will be responsible for helping to coach and support the softball team successfully compete at the Big 12 and national level, both athletically and academically. As the Hitting Coach, this position accepts responsibility of assisting with overall supervision, organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive women’s intercollegiate softball program, including recruitment and evaluation of prospective student athletes, planning and helping coach training sessions, scouting opponents and helping create Scouting reports, video breakdown and analysis, home event management, Helping coordinate team travel, helping with camp/clinics coordination, compliance with NCAA, Big 12 and institutional rules, and a commitment to academic development of student-athletes.
