We are looking for a Tax Director, to lead LastPass' overall global tax strategy, tax compliance and accounting. The role will be at the center of our organization and an integral part of the team responsible for ensuring the efficient financial management and financial controls necessary to support all our business activities. Who will you work with?

The Tax director will report directly to the CFO. This is a hands-on role, interacting, collaborating, and developing strong relationships with other finance teams (Accounting, FP&A, etc.), business stakeholders (Engineering, Sales, Marketing, etc.), and outside service providers to ensure the timely and accurate execution of tax functions.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
• Work with outside advisors to establish and maintain a global tax strategy.
• Lead all aspects of the company’s tax accounting functions, including quarterly and year-end worldwide consolidated tax provisions under ASC 740 and related disclosures.
• Manage all US federal and state tax filing/compliance activities, including estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Maintain global tax calendar and ensure that all tax filing requirements are in accordance with taxing regulations around the globe.
• Manage external tax advisors in the preparation of the company's Federal, State income tax returns.
• Review US Federal and State tax data requests and responses for information provided to the external compliance service provider.
• Oversee preparations of non-US income tax returns by external tax service providers.
• Oversee regular review and analysis of all transfer pricing.
• Oversee calculations of Uncertain Tax Positions and related interest and support recognition and measurement of various tax positions
• Oversee the company’s global indirect tax processes and audits and ensure required documentation is provided to 3rd party preparers to prepare timely and accurate indirect tax return filings.
• Oversee reviews of all tax systems/processes for the compliance/tax accounting function and recommend process improvement initiatives for more efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide tax forecasts (expense and cash impact) to the FP&A team for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
• Monitor and analyze tax regulatory and compliance developments, accounting pronouncements, and tax law changes and determine the implications for the Company.
• Assist CFO with special projects including M&A and integration initiatives.
• Manage IRS and state income tax audits.
• Provide support, direction and leadership to tax team members.

What does it take to work at LastPass?
• Minimum of 15 years of related tax experience at a multinational company and/or public accounting firm.
• Masters in Taxation and/or CPA
• Experience working in a global tax environment and managing the global tax strategy and team for a multi-national company.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and experience preparing tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
• Strong and broad-based knowledge of Federal, State and US international tax compliance skills and experience, including recent US Tax Reforms.
• Ability to understand and communicate complex tax matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple complex assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with ability to roll-up sleeves and dig into the details, and passionate about process improvements and efficiencies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $160,500 in the lowest geographic market and up to $189,750 per year in our highest geographic market. LastPass is looking for a Staff Marketing Data Engineer:

This position will work on designing and creating complex and comprehensive data sources to answer questions ranging from spend efficiency to product engagement, conversion scenarios etc. and helping optimize the business in real-time across our ecommerce and sales-led platforms. You will engage with our digital media, content, search and CRM platforms in addition to our product usage data to enable use-cases such as multi-touch attribution, digital funnel efficiencies, audience building, personalization, clustering etc.

Who will you work with?

You will be working on cross-functional projects with our Digital, Demand Generation and Product Analytics team as well as surfacing new use-cases with other engineering resources across the organization

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
• Understanding and building complex datasets from customer behavior to product/trial usage to revenue/bookings to create an end-to-end story for our product and customer journey and underlying triggers for progressions
• Identify gaps in data to support strong insight development and work with IT/Data Engineering team to create pipelines to provision the data
• Use complex data management and integration tools to take data from raw to usable, organized and rationalized datasets with implementation of agreed upon definitions and metrics
• Monitoring and reporting on the uses of emerging technologies, and seeking areas for continuous improvementthrough deployment of emerging tools and processes
• Ensuring all sources adhere to the relevant data modelling processes, procedures and standards
• Engage in communication with team members and stakeholders both verbally and in writing on technology and design considerations and status of work items
• Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions

What does it take to work at LastPass?
• 3-5 year’s experience of developing end-to-end data solutions focused on digital media, behavioral and transactional data including data transformation, integration and governance
• Experience with customer data platform (CDP) tools, preferably Adobe Experience, Tealium, or Segment as well as solid knowledge of product analytics solutions such as Amplitude
• Solid knowledge of web analytics tools and connecting data across ad platforms, first party data and tagging to create a comprehensive end-to-end view
• Strong background with data management fundamentals including database technology, ETL workflows, data analysis, and visualization.
• Knowledge of paid advertising platforms, Google analytics, tag managers in addition to CRM (SFDC) and ecommerce systems
• Developed pipelines in a team environment using agile methodologies, strong version practices and good grasp on release management
• Built and maintained at least one data engineering pipeline/data product in production environments in public/hybrid cloud infrastructure
• Strong in Python, Spark or pySpark, and SQL and have a moderate familiarity of other applicable languages
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools to provision and move data as needed
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritizations skills
• Familiarity with Databricks, BigQuery and usage of cloud sources to host and transfer data
• Familiarity with Marketing Automation tools such as Marketo

It's great, but not required:
• Experience with Machine Learning
• Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI
• Experience in Demand generation, Ecommerce and/or marketing analytics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,500 in the lowest geographic market and up to $136,875 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Your expertise lies in financial modeling and forecasting that incorporate business strategy. LastPass is looking for Senior Product Marketing Manager, Technical:

You’ll be responsible for the strategy and execution of a technical marketing plan for LastPass that aims to articulate the value of a security product to audiences of varying skill levels (consumers, IT admins, CISOs). You’ll be the much-needed conduit between our technical teams and our customers, simplifying security concepts or providing the detail they need to further their interest in, and ultimately, purchase LastPass.

We are looking for someone with a Product Marketing background (you’ve launched products, enabled sales teams, understand personas, deliver messaging) who has a penchant for all things technical in nature, including a background of translating complicated concepts into consumable and relevant materials for customers and internal technical teams. Who will you work with?

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
• This role will be our lead for technical product and content marketing for all of LastPass business and consumer products (password management, passwordless authentication, MFA, and SSO).
• Create technical, yet approachable content to highlight the capabilities and value of the LastPass product and security architecture through technical white papers, demo videos and guides, evaluation guides, demo experiences, and presentations to accelerate the adoption and growth of LastPass
• Lead and support GTM launches for security releases and updates, including alignment with product management, launch planning & execution with marketing, and messaging and content delivery
• Identify the technical/security savviness of our buyer and user personas so your content meets them where they’re at; this might require various tiers of message and content
• Work with Product, Security and Engineering to understand the roadmap, including technical aspects of upcoming releases to map out content needs and execute, with a focus on visual and interactive content to highlight new capabilities and use-cases
• Partner with the technical pre and post-sales teams to understand the requirements from prospects and customers, common objections, and content needs that will drive the sales cycle or retention   
• Partner with Documentation team to ensure technical marketing aligns with support materials, and identify opportunities for marketing to bridge gap from prospect to documentation
• Support Competitive and Market Intel with a more detailed understanding of how the products work to identify potential differentiators that can be highlighted in positioning
• Partner with Sales Enablement to support training and education of technical pre and post-sales teams

What does it take to work at LastPass?
• 3-5+ years’ experience in Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, or Implementation Services (Professional Services, Solution Consulting) within high tech, SaaS or cybersecurity organization  
• Proven ability to translate complex security and/or technical products and features into intuitive concepts, graphics, and workflows  
• Strong portfolio of compelling, technical/security content that addresses customer challenges and reduces the sales cycle  
• Identity or Cybersecurity experience with understand of encryption models, cryptography, APIs, SIEM, WebAuthn, etc
