As Director, Marketing, you'll be responsible for:
Set the strategic direction for Leadpages digital marketing and brand. Hire and lead a team of designers, marketers, email marketing automation specialists, and social media specialists working to acquire and nurture new leads and customers. Manage a multimillion-dollar budget spanning direct search, affiliate marketing, social media, and brand marketing. Optimizing SEO and organic ranking through content, blogs, and website optimization. Report on the successes, key projects updates, and any potential areas of improvement to key stakeholders Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects Become the organization's agent towards external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients and build strategic partnerships Driving aggressive, profitable web customer acquisition and retention revenue growth through new channels such as paid marketing, content marketing, SEO, affiliate and social marketing. Evaluating the financial aspects of marketing development, including budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections. Ensuring accuracy of marketing reports. Forecasting and measuring results by channel and campaign. Developing and embracing new best practices in the industry and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Build and maintain comprehensive buyer journeys that span digital, pre-sales, and post-sales stages with an emphasis on well-designed trials and freemium offerings. Continually optimize programs to ensure customer acquisition costs are in line with the return-on-investment goals. After 1 week You will be onboarded with the marketing team and get a sense of how you will fit within the company. You will be introduced to the rest of the leadership team and understand their roles. You will have met with your direct reports and are beginning to build rapport across the team. Demonstrated experience with conversion rate optimization and success owning website performance. Ability to work both strategically and hands-on alongside your team. Player-coach mindset.
