Job Description
The Marketing and Media Ninja will assist the firm in the implementation of all marketing activities, working closely to increase capabilities awareness, drive vertical presence, and ultimately generate new business leads. This is an entry level marketing position with expose to multifaceted areas of our firm. You should already have a deep understanding of marketing for a vertically focused services boutique.
• Author content for publication on company website, industry blogs, and print media
• Assist the team with packaging our prior engagements into marketing collateral
• Develop outreach strategies & campaigns, negotiate with vendors, and coordinate all campaign activities
• Establish partnerships and collaborate with partners on new campaigns and strategies to increase market exposure and new business
• Track and report measures of success in the market, benchmark against competitors
• Be the team member constantly focused on new business & new visibility and awareness in our target markets
• Regularly attend client meeting to develop knowledge of our offerings and abilities
Qualifications
• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Business concentration
• Experience developing content for marketing websites, brochures, and other promotional mediums
• Experience in writing for industry publications & partnering with vertical publishers on outreach
• B2B content writing and content marketing experience (fashion/entertainment or blogging about a personal passion does not apply)
• You can grasp technical concepts quickly and write about them in a way that a non-technical audience can understand
• You have touched it all: blogs, web content, social media content, sales materials (brochures, PPT sales decks), press releases, video script, customer testimonials, landing pages, infographics, whitepapers, webinars, emails, questionnaires, surveys, etc.
• You understand the importance of keyword research and the placement of those words and phrases within content and meta tags
• You're a storyteller who can continuously find new and creative ways to explain the value of a highly specific services to prospects
• You have the experience and a natural gift for translating complex concepts into clear, concise and vibrant short form copy for all online and offline channels
• You who can wear multiple hats on a regular basis and will do whatever it takes to get the job done
• Extremely impressive writing and editing skills
• Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of what metrics to measure for each type of content
