The 3 primary areas:
(1) Work directly with customers to guide them through complex application processes and act as a consultant to inform them of available funding resources
(2) Build a network of contracted resources across the US that have localized funding expertise, which will in turn support customers directly, on behalf of LEGO Education to secure funding
(3) Informing and educating the LEGO Education organization on the most up to date funding programs that align to our portfolio.
As a new role, it will be required to build the operating framework, identify needed tools and resources, and establish processes to go to market with this capability. The role will report to the Head of Sales Operations & Enablement and work cross functionally with sales leaders.
Core Responsibilities
•Craft and develop commercial strategies both at the national, state and local level to help meet ambitious objectives and goals. Research and coordinate all applicable funding sources that are available to the K12 Education market in the USA
• Establish a network of contracted grants and funding specialists in key markets throughout the US. Provide consultation services directly to grant writers, coordinators, faculty, and/or administrators with proposal preparation, developing budgets, budget justifications, supporting documentation, and required institutional information to help align grants/funding opportunities to secure LE solutions.
•Develop an effective process for advising and educating on the most up to date grants and funding information available, working in collaboration with the Training & Development Manager to accomplish this
•Increase overall sales revenue and win rates by reducing financial barriers to purchasing LEGO Education solutions
•Role model and foster a team culture of brand and legal compliance under which all reports are aware of and given all support needed to adhere to the LEGO Group’s brand, ethical and legal standards, including relevant policies (such as those related to undue influence; gifts, hospitality & entertainment; engagement with public officials and funding; and conflicts of interest, among others) and laws.

•Demonstrable experience with facilitating complex K12 Education funding processes. Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate funding policies and procedures.
•Proven grant writing experience with a track record in achieving or exceeding annual goals. In-depth understanding of educational and community-based funding processes and cycles
•Practical knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards as well as of federal, state, and local funding allocations, compliance regulations, and reporting
•Organized and with outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
•Demonstrate experience in managing vendor relationship and agreements
•Good communication skills both verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas and conduct persuasive presentations in English.

• Ensures a well-organized stockroom is maintained at all times as well as backroom and offsite areas.
