THE CHALLENGE

•Deploy on various CVNs and LHA/D ships embedding with Aviation Supply Office (S-6) aboard, providing Reverse Supply Chain expertise in AVDLR/DLR policy and procedures, PHS&T training, eRMS 2.0 training and assistance and DLR retrograde movement.
•Operating independently at assigned Ashore activity supporting major and various minor activities to include Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) nodes to ensure the proper P700-CNP packaging and handling and shipping of all DLR's back to required CONUS repair and storage depots or pack-up kit managers.
•Assist assigned Major and Minor activities to include CVN/LHD Beach Detachments with RSC logistics.
•Independently determine PHS&T discrepancies and inefficiencies and identify necessary remediation requirements.
•Develop and implement necessary POAMs to correct/improve current activity practices recommending improvements to the appropriate chain of command.
•Provide expert advice in the areas of PHS&T techniques, resource support, facilities layout, and utilization, packaging materials and equipment, handling including container utilization, storage, transportation, and retrograde system infrastructure.
•Monitor and analyze assigned unit/ship/shore station’s eRMS database and supply posture to ensure 100% carcass accountability, minimize additional damage to repairables during transit, and provide for efficient and accurate In-Transit-Visibility (ITV)/proof of delivery.
•Document program activities, establish logistics guidance, conduct supportability analyses, establish support concepts, and provide the continued planning necessary to ensure effective and economical support for the program.

WHAT SETS YOU APART:
•Minimum twenty years work experience as a Navy Aviation Storekeeper (Logistics Specialist) or as an Aviation Logistics Marine with experience in PHS&T Logistical Readiness, Transportation management, customer service operations, training support, hazardous material handling, and/or process review support.
•Prior enlisted/officer military service and experience as an E-8 or above (an E-7 will be considered if extensive DLR management experience can be demonstrated).
•Physically capable to deploy on US Naval vessels and adhere to all policies and procedures set by U.S. Navy
•Physically capable to travel remote locations to support ashore logistics operations.

The VR&E team has an opportunity for an experienced cybersecurity engineer with an analytical mind capable of supporting an enterprise level system for the VBA and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Cybersecurity Engineer must be able to identify threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, develop high-tech software to defend against hacking, malware, and insider threats. This position is presently listed as 100% remote.

Primary Responsibilities
• Investigating computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to information and automated information systems,
• Providing computer forensic and intrusion support to high technology investigations in the form of computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessments,
• Researching and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network security and encryption.
• In addition, duties may include designing, developing, or recommending integrated system solutions ensuring proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected,
• Participating with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs, and configuring and validating secure systems, testing security
• Participating in the change management process
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with various departments, teams, and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
• Detailed understanding of cybersecurity methodologies and how to apply them within the VHA environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.) and 4 – 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and delivering a Cybersecurity Plan
• Excellent researching, decision-making and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with others and work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiar with basic professional software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Detail oriented with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Due to US Government contract requirements, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, engineering, etc.) and 2 – 6 years of relevant experience
• Experience with the policies, procedures, and standards of the VA’s Office of Information Security (OIS)
• Experience with the VA’s Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools
• Experience with developing, maintaining and delivery of the various information and privacy documentation artifacts
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with Test Driven Development
• Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00

• Acquire and maintain access to the client’s system in order to retrieve and post project documents.

T-Line Designer Required Education & Experience:
• BS degree and 2-4 years prior relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Skilled in PLS-CADD.
• AutoCad & MicroStation transmission line drafting.
• ESRI, Civil 3D, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple projects at the same time to meet deadlines.
• Ability to complete assigned task in a timely manner.
• Must be able to assist others when needed and follow directions clearly from engineers as well as peers.
