The US Data Science organization within US Retail Market is hiring an individual contributor for its Data Science Excellence-Complex Components group. Limit & Deductible (L&D) pricing is a challenging area where industry sophistication lags, creating an opportunity for us to differentiate ourselves from top competitors. This role will serve as the lead analyst helping to produce L&D factors for use in our next-gen pricing programs and providing guidance to key stakeholders in state management & delivery. The Portfolio Product Owner (PPO) for Systems of Engagement in Global Digital Services (GDS), initially focused on engineering and will expand to other personas, will align teams to create a common strategy and delivery model for the platform that engineering, and technology teams use to accelerate delivery of business value. This role will drive the strategy, the roadmap, and value realization of the engineering platforms systems of engagement and associated services. Initial focus will be to identify and prioritize critical platform capabilities across engagement systems alongside work supporting GDS flagship initiatives to continue to drive significant technology delivery productivity improvements.

This role owns the platform strategy and is the primary engagement point for the engineering platform and services for all technology employees at Liberty Mutual. We are on an exciting Data Evolution (DEVO) journey to transform our data ecosystem to a set of modern data platforms and tools. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead dedicated data engineering Claims teams that incorporates customer-focused data solutions, engineering excellence and standard Agile/Lean software development methodologies. In this role, you will manage and lead four Agile data engineering squads supporting our business strategies as they build and maintain business data solutions for USRM Claims business with a focus on Personal Lines. In this role you will:
• Develop and maintain a strong collaborative and trusting relationship with your team and business partners, including the Product Owner (PO) leadership in the USRM Data Office.
• Support the teams through servant leadership by providing coaching and mentoring to empower and inspire Data Engineers, Analysts and Scrum Masters.

About the Product Owner Role
The Product Owner acts as the intermediary between the customer and the organization, delivering business value. Product Owner Responsibilities

Qualifications
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management as typically acquired through a Bachelors` degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years direct experience with agile teams as well as 7 years in business, technology, or consulting.
