The Role
The 25m Health Spring Fellowship (Feb – May 2024) mixes healthcare startup building, venture investing and portfolio company management, while offering exposure to senior executives at the firm, LifePoint Health, and others in our portfolio.
Who You Are
• Current MD Candidate or Medical Resident
• Deep knowledge in healthcare or digital health and a strong passion for developing solutions that can improve the lives of patients, clinicians, and healthcare workers
• Intellectually curious problem-solver who loves diving head-first into unfamiliar challenges
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments without the structure of a large organization
• Analytical thinker and a superb communicator – you can dig into the numbers and convey their findings through written and verbal communication
• Has experience at the intersection of healthcare startups, payor/provider enterprise systems, and VC in the past
• Gone deep with prospects, customers, users, partners, and anyone else in an ecosystem to understand problems and figure out solutions (quantitative and qualitative research, ideation, validation)
• Created solutions from scratch – turning research findings into vision, and vision into product
• Built competitive landscapes; defined points of differentiation; evaluated the value of products/features
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours/week preferred

What You'll do at 25m Health
• The Spring fellow will primarily support our incubation work, with some exposure to investment opportunities. Responsibilities will include:
• Help us identify, test, and iterate on our next cohort of incubated healthcare startups
• Execute on product-focused work with early-stage businesses
• Define product and go-to-market roadmaps for internally-incubated startups
• Conduct market and user research on new whitespaces and ideas
• Assist portfolio companies across a variety of functions, including marketing and customer acquisition, distribution, product development, user experience, fundraising, and more.

• How long will the program be?
• Four months, February 2024 — May 2024. Start and end dates are flexible

• This is a part-time, but very involved, program. On average we expect ~20 hours per week but are flexible to your own schedule.
