The graduate (MSW) program, originally accredited by CSWE in 2003, is primarily an evening and weekend MSW program with approximately 200 MSW students. A DSW degree was launched in fall 2022. The MSW program prepares graduates for Clinical and Administrative practice, with concentrations in the following areas: Child and Family Welfare, Forensic Social Work, Gerontology, Not-for-Profit Management, and Substance Use and Other Addictive Behaviors. Although our MSW program is a collaborative program in coordination with LIU's Post Campus, this current faculty posting is specifically for a position located on the Brooklyn Campus. The successful candidate will be engaged in the College's educational, research and service activities. Primary responsibilities will include clinical and didactic teaching in anesthesiology and small animal surgery course laboratories. Successful candidates are expected to promote LIU-CVM's overall mission of enhancing veterinary medical education through a commitment to teaching, academic excellence, and service to a variety of stakeholders.
Active engagement in curriculum development, identification or creation of innovative learning resources, committee service participation (such as admissions, curriculum, research, etc.) is expected of both clinical and tenure track faculty.
