Overview

The Sales Development organization serves as the first point of contact for prospective customers, and this team is responsible for first impressions and early engagement. This leader will have overall responsibility for inspiring, mentoring and building teams within the global Sales Development organization; these teams generate the new logo sales pipeline via inbound lead management and outbound prospecting in support of our field sales organization. Taking ownership of high volume, high quality, high velocity pipeline generation and its progression through the sales cycle, their ability to partner at the executive level and the supporting functions, incl. Marketing, Sales Strategy, Enablement, Product and Sales Programs, will define their success. They will be a critical contributor to the corporate sales strategy, providing a healthy and reliable pipeline for Sales to achieve the global objectives.

You will

Lead an accomplished group of Managers/Directors and Sales Development Representatives based in NA, EMEA and APAC, with focus on building scalable best practices:
• Coach leadership and Sales Development Reps to meet pipeline targets.
• Retain and inspire an accomplished team
• Align the Sales Development team with the Sales organization to achieve new logo acquisition targets, load balanced across regions and reps
• Establish and lead rigorous sales development execution, ensuring target accomplishment, accurate forecasts and total transparency
• Inspire & motivate individuals to succeed through impassioned management, coaching, creative sales incentives, and broadcast of results
• Work with the Revenue Marketing team to outbound accounts alongside of target campaigns
• Work with the Growth Marketing team to ensure swift follow up on all inbound MQLs
• Implement process and productivity improvements, including the SDR tech stack
• Build and conduct executive presentations for all partners
• Participate in global projects to guide fast innovation and keep our processes and methodologies ahead of the market
• Promote us across the wider business

You have
• Experience with SDR prospecting tools
• Prior experience and success in building and running large, high velocity inside sales teams in 2nd line leadership roles, within the technology/SaaS industry
• SFDS Operations experience
• Experience managing teams to achieve performance goals and overachieving pipeline and revenue targets
• Experience hiring and developing teams globally, at scale, with a focus on coaching, mentoring and diversity

Benefits:

The salary range for this role will be between $181,800 to $242,400. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, your location, and your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications. Overview:

Reporting to our Chief Accounting Officer, you lead the revenue accounting team, ensuring that revenue is recorded in compliance with US GAAP.

You will:
• Lead an internal and external team to execute and complete timely global revenue and sales commissions month-end close process, reconciliations, and preparation of relevant sections of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Be the subject-matter expert on the treatment of revenue accounting transactions (under ASC 606) to identify, analyze, and apply technical guidance related to software and SaaS revenue recognition, managing accounting policies and memos related to revenue, and provide training to internal staff on technical accounting matters.
• Research accounting guidance and prepare technical memos documenting our position on revenue transactions.
• Provide reporting and analytics relating to daily operations, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and strategic analysis.
• Work with external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are followed and monitored, drive closure of revenue accounting matters and annual audits and quarterly reviews. Prepare schedules and reports to support annual audit, ensuring that all deliverables are met.
• Be a trusted business partner and advisor to several stakeholders across the business including sales, sales operations, services, internal audit, legal, product management, FP&A, data management team and IT. Participate in the review and evaluation of deal structures to ensure revenue recognition while promoting positive customer relations. Provide expertise on revenue related to new product introductions and new business expansion.
• Support sales transactions within the boundaries of ASC 606, but with an eye towards growing the top line.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
• Evaluate processes, and drive system implementation and enhancements including integrations from Salesforce, Zuora, RevPro, and SAP.

You have:
• BS/BA degree in accounting. CPA with Big 4 experience required.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of GAAP and ASC 606 experience.
• 10+ years experience, with a mix of public accounting experience, and corporate revenue accounting.
• Global experience building and motivating teams, including offshore; excellent mentor and people manager.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting information from customer contracts, policies, and regulations.
• Detail oriented with experience in performance measurement via KPI's.
• Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts) and managing large sets of data.
• Google/Microsoft product skills.
• Zuora or Zuora RevPro, and Salesforce experience.
