Your Day to Day
• Spending divided time, based on need, between supporting Gainsight system administration and Success Ops strategy in a variety of capacities.
• Assist with configuring, deploying, and administering the Gainsight platform (reports, dashboards, workflows, integrations, etc.) within the context of business strategy and customizations.
• Assist with designing business rules that analyze customer data and trigger actions for the Success team to engage with customers.

The right candidate will have experience managing enterprise content, working within a development team to create and improve the content toolset, and helping content teams develop and maintain global strategies around taxonomy, metadata management, localization, and information architecture.

Your Day-to-Day:

As. Principal Content Strategist, you would be working on the following:
• Work with frontend strategist to define the overall content requirements and potential content sources of the Support Site and ensure the content can support the desired customer experience
• Partner daily with the platform development team to define the architecture, modules, and data needed for the system to satisfy the requirements of an enterprise-level content ecosystem (namely scalability, sustainability, and flexibility)
• Collaborate with the platform’s Product Management and Executive team on the long-term roadmap and priorities; ensure alignment with executive leadership and platform development teams on content goals and risks
• Drive the creation, maintenance, and enforcement of standards that are key to the success of a unified content strategy, including:
• Taxonomy and terminology standards
• Information architecture guidelines
• Structured writing standards and templates
• Adaptive content models to support omnichannel content offerings
• Content reuse and metadata strategies
• Automation
• Work with the analytics team to provide models for defining, prioritizing, integrating, and measuring content, and work with the frontend strategist to find ways to operationalize the use of that info in our daily writing
• Create strategy and roadmap for content migrations, acquisitions, and rebrands, and help prepare documentation to do so in as automated ways as possible
• Champion the team’s Learning Series, which is dedicated to teaching new skills, enforcing content-creation standards and facilitating long-term initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

As Principal Content Strategist, your background will look like this:
• Experience managing customer and employee-facing enterprise content
• Experience with structured content, ideally DITA
• Experience with headless CMS
• Experience creating/implementing taxonomy, metadata management, and information architecture
• Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
