Position Description:

The University of Louisville (UofL) seeks a highly motivated Executive Director to lead the Digital Transformation Center DTC. Operating under the Office of the president the center helps the Faculty, Staff and Students and the Community to harness the power of digital transformation within higher education and workforce curriculum.

The successful candidate will assist the Principal Investigator for the NSA cybersecurity grant in advancing all aspects of the overall Grants Management for the NSA Cybersecurity grant as well as across all grants within the Digital Transformation Center, including efforts related to grant project management, grant proposal writing, budgeting, curriculum development, instructional design, and industry validation. The position will also manage a staff of direct reports. Carry the responsible for recruiting, enrollments, evaluation of curriculum and student performance, and curriculum revision. The position will also develop and guide the strategic deployment of the NSA workforce certificate beyond the grant timeline. As lead member of the NSA Coalition of universities and colleges across the country the exec director must manage and coordinate curriculum and recruiting efforts with the 5 initial schools in the coalition as well as adding 4 additional NCAE-C or aspiring NCAE-C institutions at the beginning of the 2023 of that particular grant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee all aspects of grant project management and manage project effectiveness.
• Oversee and maintain the project's records, timeline, webpages, social media accounts, communication, monitor budget and deliverables.
• Hire, recruit, manage staff
• Prepare related reports as needed by the department, university, and grant sponsor.
• Work with various teams to produce and execute plans for programmatic components of the project, including the development, documentation, and coordination of pilot applications, offerings, and tracking.
• Collaborate and support processes for recruitment, marketing, intake, enrollment and graduation.
• Collaborate with project faculty and staff to facilitate curricular process and approvals and ensure that activities undertaken related to this project adhere to university policies and requirements of federal grant management.
• Harvest new grants, assist with finding, writing and executing new grant funding
• Prepare for and monitor the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of services. And other offerings associated with this certificate program.
• Ensure the programs remain compliant with university and federal grant management policies, operate efficiently and on budget.
• Oversee efforts to evaluate and document the program's development success through collecting data, tracking student progress, and preparing related activities for the sponsor.
• Troubleshoot all program operations daily.
• Advise the PIs and executive teams on courses of action after conducting thorough analyses of data, options, and other considerations.
• Develop and measure key performance indicators and report quarterly.
• Employ project management methodology and utilize project management software to display data to support stakeholders' decision and effectively management the grants timelines.
• Collaborate with external partners to complete deliverables within the project timeline.
• Procure and manage third party contracts and ensure invoices are paid to support grant deliverables.
Strategic Leadership and Program Development
• Lead the development and implementation of the organization's workforce development strategies.
• Ensure deliverables of the DTC grants and contracts are met on time ,on budget and delivered with high quality.
• Develop & Lead the expansion of the DTC's portfolio of programs to ensure relevance and responsiveness to the University mission (Teaching, Research & Community service)
• Reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) for the DTC including grants reporting
• Outreach for the DTC internally and externally
Administration and Management
• Oversee daily operations of the organization, providing executive direction program strategy, compliance, quality assurance, budget, and program efficiency.
• Oversee hiring, training, and retaining DTC staff. This includes leading staff. performance, direct supervision, mentoring, coaching, conflict management and guidance to attract and retain a motivated and productive staff.
• Oversee administrative functions of the grant programs including programmatic and financial reporting elements that comply with all relevant federal, state and local regulations.
• Foster clear, regular internal communication, especially regarding program activities and plans.
• Establish and implement effective processes needed to carry out all objectives of the DTC
• Manage multiple projects, including project plan, KPIs, reporting, and data management.
• Manage the Strut LMS and related contract within the DTC
• Manage the micro-credential badging
Coordinate with Project Stakeholders
• Oversee and collaborate with UofL internal partners including academic faculty, staff, and supporting units (e.g. Procurement, Bus Ops, OSPA, Delphi, etc.)
• Coordinate and regularly communicate efforts related to all projects to the PI, Co-PIs, and coalition executive committee.
• Develop, oversee and collaborate with external partners including corporations, industry partners, vendors (ie Google, Microsoft, IBM etc).
• Promote the performance of the DTC programs and successes of students across campus and industry partners.
• Support the development of research and evaluation efforts related to UofL's programs and other professional development certificates.
• Coordinate and communicate with partners on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of project progress.
• Manage the workflow, instructor assignments, and invoicing for the first 5 and then next 4 coalition schools throughout the life of the project.
Preferred Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have experience working with multi-year projects, work-based learning, and program support in a higher education setting. This position is a full-time, benefited position is based on department need, staff performance, and grant/contract funding.

This person serves in a customer service-oriented role at the Counseling Center's front desk, managing administrative and clerical office operations, maintaining a professional office environment, and assisting clients and office visitors.

The Program Assistant drafts and processes incoming and outgoing correspondence, including confidential communications, and assists in scheduling meetings and therapy appointments. The position creates student case files in an electronic medical records system (Titanium), manages the organization of those records, and files confidential information, alongside other duties.

Due to Counseling Center accreditation standards, students at the University of Louisville are ineligible for the position.

Salary Commensurate with experience

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
