What you'll be doing:
• Support daily planning operations, implement continuous improvement initiatives and lead logistics projects to drive profitable sales, reduce transportation spend and improve levels of service to customers.
• Responsible for all transportation financial budgets, operational, and service standards for the company. Analyze freight costs, new strategies, potential cost savings and measurable KPI’s to communicate to management team the effectiveness of new strategies. You will use reporting to identify improvement initiatives and measure KPI’s.
• Driving our costs across multiple transportation business strategies; small package/.com DTC shipments, truckload shipments from suppliers and international air/ocean container shipments.
• Implementing Innovative strategies to provide improved customer service at lowest cost.
• Prioritize and multi-task to ensure deadlines are met with on time deliveries (production, customers, etc.).
• Develop strong transportation/freight company relationships and collaboration. Drive scale and lower cost to select best carrier options for Domestic and International shipments/deliveries.
• Perform Market Rate Analysis, Performance Tracking, Pricing guidance.
• Audit freight billing to validate quotes vs. final invoicing

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business or Economics)

• Required experience (combination of several is acceptable): Interaction w major logistic companies (FedEx, UPS, CH Robinson), Air/Ocean shipment setup, “small package” delivered products, International shipping, and retail customers (Big Box, end user/online)
