The role in a nutshell
You will be part of Luno’s strategic mission to make a strong foothold in the US crypto financial services markets. You have the opportunity to build a new team from the ground up, and drive a best-in-class customer service experience for the business and our customers. As the US Customer Success Operations Manager, you will constantly reinvent the wheel - proactively identifying where customer experience and processes can be made more optimal, delivering the most efficient and customer-centric results for Luno and the best customer service experience for our US customers.
You will be part of Luno’s global Customer Success team, consisting of 140 people located in Cape Town, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. Reporting directly into our Global Head of Customer Success and working closely with the General Manager for the US you will be part of a team that established Luno with the US and help drive the business forward by putting the customer first in everything that we do.
Your mission will involve
• Help formulate the US Customer Service strategy, design the customer experience and build the vision with the support of Senior Leadership and cross functional teams.
• Accountable for the consistent delivery of the Luno customer experience to US consumers.
• Establishing and maintaining a highly engaged and connected US Customer Success team.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Luno’s US customer success team, in line with the vision of the global CS team.

In your first six months, you will
• Work on US and global customer contacts to really get to know our customers and to understand all the processes and policies related to Luno’s customer support.
• Build strong relationships with Luno’s global Customer Success department.
• Understand Luno’s product and offerings thoroughly.
• Work closely with the Workforce, Quality Assurance,Training and global Operations teams to ensure our US branch is set up for success, always.
• Ensure that all team members are meeting and exceeding their productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals.

The ideal Lunaut for this role:
• Relevant Degree (highly preferred)
• At least 7 years senior leadership experience managing a team of operational managers and their respective teams.

• Must be able to work with cross functional teams to deliver large and complex pieces of work. Stakeholders include product, engineering, marketing, legal and compliance to mention a few.

BREAKFAST is looking for a highly skilled Industrial Designer that has experience working in very small teams and wearing a lot of different hats.
In this role you'll be responsible for the final look, feel and design of our art sculptures and mechanics. You'll have to be equally adapt at new concept sketching as working with our ME's in Solidworks on the final mechanical parts for... production.
We see this as a hybrid role and best suits a candidate that has great ID skills but can bridge over to mechanical engineering tasks as well.
Your role will be to translate the founders vision and ideas into fully fledged art sculptures along with a great design team consisting of ME's, EE's and software engineers.
The right candidate is extremely focused on quality and design, and have an eye for aesthetics. You'll be following your projects from start to finish and ensuring quality in the final piece.
Our pieces are usually very large scale public works that include interactive components in architectural spaces. Experience in these types of environments is a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITES
New project concept sketching and ideation
Project CAD design work
Material selections and finishes
Designing mechanics and lighting
Quality control for outgoing art pieces
Prototyping ideas in our workshop
Design for manufacturing and vendor communications
Design for audible noise mitigation and low power usage
Designing for part longevity and ease of repair / maintenance
Creation of documentation, drawings, and instructions
Travel to installs when necessary
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor's degree or higher in design, engineering or similar related field
6+ years of professional experience in creating digital products
Expert level CAD and parametric modeling experience
Prototyping using 3D printers, Laser, machine shop tools (lathe, mill, spray both etc)
Highly technical, lots of experience working in cross functional small teams
An insatiable desire to understand, use, and even create technology and art
A creative and entrepreneurial mindset always looking for ways to improve themselves
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience working with sensors, actuators, LEDs, motors
