The Marketing Coordinator will primarily support the product and channel development of Magnolia Bakery’s growing Grocery/Consumer Packaged Goods business unit. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. This role will deliver a myriad of support across the team and be able to work across multiple internal cross-functional teams at Magnolia Bakery. This role will also support our growth strategy by supporting key projects, retailers, business channels, sales presentations/pitches, sampling, contract administration, and budget management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage day-to-day CPG marketing operations, including marketing strategy, retail paid media investments, retailer relationships, shopper marketing activations, coupon tracking, sampling, and more.
• Develop integrated shopper program strategy for Grocery, Club, Emerging and C-Store accounts and broader channel needs.
• Create and lead briefs with retailer, media, and shopper partners to communicate vision and objectives for retailer programming.
• Own individual retailer KAMPs and support in providing insights and recommendations for annual marketing and trade planning.
• Leverage data and insights to build shopper programs through tactics including loyalty, couponing, shopper media, etc.
• Manage budgets and conduct post-program analysis

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
• Accountable for overseeing the daily operations of the production facility in partnership with leading the facility management team. The PM is liable for the supervision of all bakery production for D2C, B2B, 3rd party fulfillment, and wholesale accounts. In addition, the PM must effectively manage the warehouse space to ensure the safety of all workers within the manufacturing facility.
• Develop and manage the leadership team across multiple manufacturing shifts, implementing best practices and continuous improvement to achieve organizational objectives.
• Accountable for Improving culture & driving training department objectives at the Bakery.
• Monitor and adjust the weekly production schedule to ensure delivery of production targets.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards and programs, including supporting audits and any other regulatory activities.

• Drive lean initiatives and be the main advocate for continuous improvement culture.
• Human Resources - Accountable for partnering with Human Resource to create Progressive Improvement Plans (PIP) as needed and escalations such as: suspension, investigation, and terminable offences to maintain a safe and productive workplace.​
• Finance- works with CFO and Finance team to:
• Work in conjunction with the CFO to reconcile costs and sales on a weekly/daily/monthly basis as well as follow all operational and capital budgets.

• Develop and manage annual expense and capital budgets.
