Description Sinch Email is looking for a Deal Desk Manager to join our Sales Operations team! The primary responsibility of this role will be to support sales processes including contract validation, data integrity, and customer onboarding.
Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor on pricing models, quote-to-cash process and works cross functionally across the organization to help drive sales efficiency.
Point of contact for the sales organization to ensure operational excellence through the end to end 'back office' processes.
Responsible for proactively working with sales to develop and support creative business opportunities in a manner that strengthens and protects corporate business and financial interests (short and long term).
Ensures that proposed solutions align with business, financial, standard business principles, policies, approval matrix and commercial terms of the corporation and business unit.
Provide business, pricing, product knowledge, and analytical support to sales for large, complex, non-standard transactions.
Optimize and automate the process for non-standard deal approvals, e.g.
thresholds and rules, approver roles and responsibilities, approval routing and workflow design, automated exception alerting and communications, and the creation of a hierarchy of special terms, tips/techniques and recommended workarounds.
Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with critical business partners (e.g.
Finance, Legal, etc.) to expedite the review and approval process.
Identify potential training needs and coordinate with internal teams to build and deliver sales enablement tools (e.g.
Product and Pricing FAQs, Sales Approval templates, etc.).
Participate in the integration planning and execution process for new products or lines of business (e.g., Platform, Channel).
Develop operational readiness plans and assess quoting readiness.
Coordinate tool enhancement activities, drive testing plans and deliver functional processes to deal support team members.
Work with deal support teams (e.g.
Legal, Finance, etc.) to address sophisticated pricing/commercial terms and provide options to enable sales overcome customer objections while improving margins, revenue and sales bookings.
Engage with designated sales teams to provide pricing and deal structuring guidance.
Function in sales advisory capacity to mentor sales on objection handling techniques, contractual options, and standard business terms.
Function as a sales advocate to collaborate with Legal and Finance business partners to address and resolve sales impediments.
Facilitate the sales approval and/or standardized contract document generation processes.
Ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies.
Requirements3-5 years of deal desk strategy, or sales/revenue operations experience.
Passion for technology, data, and efficient sales cycles management.
Ability to develop & maintain positive relationships with sales and internal departments.
Strong motivational, coaching, & mentoring skills.
Self-starter, highly analytical, with sound decision-making skills.
Software/SaaS/subscription experience a plus.
Understanding of enterprise sales environments and processes.
Authoritative and effective communicator.
Fluency with Salesforce, including CPQ, and Apttus a plus.
Proficient in MS Office, Google Sheets, Google Docs & Google Slides.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities.
