To ensure success as a Senior IT Support Specialist you should have an in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting and support with Windows, macOS, SaaS administration, Active Directory, and the ability to solve complex IT issues. Ultimately, a top-class Senior IT Support Specialist ensures all Malwarebytes employees have the technology and support required to do their job, while maintaining a high level of security and customer service. The ideal candidate is a curious problem solver, with strong people skills, and a focus on teamwork.
This is an on-site role located in our Santa Clara, CA office.
What You’ll Do
• Respond to help desk tickets and escalate tickets to proper support teams as required
• Onboard new hires, including account setup and training
• Conduct account removals as part of Offboarding process
• Provision computers
• Intermediate Active Directory/Azure work
• Intermediate SaaS administration for corporate IT platforms
• Assist with inventory and asset management
• Maintain and update IT documentation and processes
• Assist with the administration and enforcement of security policies
• Occasional on-call duties as requested
• Other duties as assigned
Skills You’ll Need To Have
• 5+ years of progressive information technology experience
• Demonstrated experience with Windows and macOS support in a mid or large-scale environment
• Knowledge of iOS and Android support
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot common hardware & software issues
• Proficiency with Active Directory administration such as user, group, and device management
• Experience with Office 365 administration
• Experience working with common SSO solutions such as Okta, OneLogin, or similar
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail
Nice To Have Skills
• Experience with endpoint MDM management solutions such as Jamf and Intune
