What Will You Be Doing?
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for marketing creatives, and execute ads production
• Analyze data, review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses, and develop solutions within budget constraints
• Work with the other teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
• Experiment with various organic and paid user acquisition channels
• Manage Social Media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, and create relevant content for these pages
• Conduct market and user research to better understand user behaviors
• Available for Meetings 3-5x a week
What Do You Need?
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or in agencies
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and understanding of digital marketing to inform decisions
• Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Experience in producing TikTok videos, drafting scripts, and working with creators
• A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
• Understanding the Manga, Anime, Webcomics and Novels space is a must
• Basic Photo/Video edits on Capcut, Pixlr, and Canva.
• BONUS: art and/or photography skills

Responsibilities:
• Draft, track, and manage seasonal publishing schedules.
• Set and enforce editorial production deadlines, working closely with both in-house staff and freelancers.
• Request books, art files, and other assets from licensors as necessary to produce English editions, and manage subsequent receipt of files.
• Manage approvals, rate requests, and queries with the clients.
• Enter and maintain key metadata for all titles in PRH databases, and run weekly production meetings.
• Recruit, hire, and manage freelance editors, translators, and proofreaders, alongside evaluating freelancer output, negotiating fees, and reviewing invoices.
• Work closely with other PRHPS staff to develop new or improved workflows and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• At least 3-4 years of managing editorial experience or project management experience in an adjacent field.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with a professional demeanor, be a reliable point of contact, and manage the tasks and schedules of others.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality amid juggling multiple projects.
• Proficiency at Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
• Familiarity with FileMaker, SAP, InDesign and/or other project management software preferred.
The salary range for this position is $70,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
