The base pay range for this role is between $130,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Description / Duties:

The Mapping Drivers are given the task of driving public streets and areas, specifically targeting commercial districts and historical sites. You will thoroughly map a given area including all public streets, highways, and off and on ramps. At times this will require specific areas to be driven multiple times due to poor weather and/or lighting conditions.
• Driving a mapping vehicle in designated mapping areas (6-8 hours M-F)
• Completing electronic forms and reports daily about mapping duties and vehicle feedback
• Communicating daily with Operations Leads to address technical items and mapping area assignments
• Shipping completed data drives to client via UPS or FEDEX

Length of assignment:
4-6 months

Compensation:
$15/hour

Location:
Thousand Oaks, CA

Requirements:
• 1 driver required per mapping vehicle
• Must have a valid Driver License
• Driving experience, 1 year minimum
• Must have reliable parking to safely store vehicle for duration of project
• Must enjoy driving!
• Able to work M-F (40 hrs a week / weather permitting)
• Must live within 30 min commute of the core mapping area and possess knowledge of local roads and traffic trends
• Available for a minimum of 4-6 months
• General car knowledge:
Drivers are responsible for ensuring the car is operational daily
• Able to meet daily/weekly mapping needs, under virtual supervision
• Able to travel (1-5 days) using plane, train, bus, car, etc.
• Able to use smart phones, Bluetooth, laptops, electronic forms, and hard drives
• Ability to communicate clearly via email, text, and phone
• Self-motivated, Reliable, Detail-Oriented
