About the role
The Marketing Technologist will help coordinate and lead the marketing technology strategy and execution for Leviton’s Direct to Consumer (D2C) marketing campaign to help achieve sales goals for smart home, IoT, and Evolve products. Utilizing marketing technologies (MarTech) and analytics to drive engagement, customer acquisition and business growth.
The Marketing Technologist will have a strong interest in and understanding of marketing automation, social media platforms, E-Commerce platforms, and analysis of data collected. Must be equally comfortable discussing the taxonomy of website properties, the open rates and click-through rates of the D2C campaign elements, and relevant marketing trends. Working closely with marketing, Leviton cloud and app teams, and product teams to plan and execute the D2C campaigns and meet their sales goals, and with our technology teams to ensure that all of our Marketing Technology tools are performing at peak efficiency.
Please note that this job is on-site 4 days a week/ 1 work from home.
Responsibilities
Build, Deploy, Innovate, and/or Operate the Marketing Technology stack. This includes ensuring the right set of data, technology and architectural choices for integration, activation/execution, sufficiency, and enrichment to meet the business need most effectively.
Be the trusted leader, influencer, and practitioner of the Marketing Technology stack to deliver business results for your respective brands, category and/or region.
Act as an educator and translator between Marketing and Technology teams to ensure the technology can meet the business’s needs.
Collaborate with product management, marketing, sales teams, and agency/external partner team members to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results.
Analyze and assess performance of campaigns through Google Analytics and other available measurement tools and translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaign strategy.
Deploy test-and-learn strategies aimed at refining campaigns and overall strategy.
Lead Google Remarketing and Dynamic Remarketing efforts while managing tags for the Leviton e-Store.
Plan, build, schedule, and execute multiple advanced email campaigns, including Drip Campaigns and execute multiple advanced social media campaigns.
Examine campaign open rates and click-thru rates and recommend refinements to improve these KPIs.
Assess audience data collected and identify look-alike audience to send prospecting communications.
Examine data acquired and identify sales prospect opportunities.
Assess campaign performance and report what is working and offer recommendations on how to improve elements that are not meeting expectations.
Manage a campaign budget and report ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend)
Maintain general awareness of working status for assigned projects.
Ensure compliance of brand and identity guidelines for developed collateral
Work with agency partners and lead strategic vision with them.
Qualifications
Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with a network of marketing agencies and communicate effectively.
Detailed knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and their ability to deliver targeted messages to drive product awareness and sales conversion.
Familiarity with Salesforce and with marketing automation platforms like Pardot and Amazon Pinpoint
Must be well-versed using data as a strategic choice for the business to identify use cases, fill gaps in data collection, and improve processes.
Ability to coordinate with Product Management and creative staff to develop creative, differentiated, and effective marketing and selling tools.
Ability to create new ideas and develop tactical plans that support division strategy.
Ability to create messages and communications vehicles to effectively present the division’s message to the target audience.
Must be creative, resourceful, able to think independently and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Must develop and execute creative solutions to assigned tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work effectively cross functionally.
Working knowledge of Demand Side Platforms is a plus.
Understanding of basic HTML is a plus.
Education & Experience
BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science or Information Systems
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing-related position
