If you’re tired of dry, boring product reviews and tech news, bring your thoughts, voice, and expertise to Mashable. The ideal candidate can write news hits quickly and cleanly. They also know how to write about phones, apps, and other products in a... conversational way that won’t put readers to sleep. They will be expected to write about tech, but not live in a tech bubble — knowledge of pop culture and current events is a major plus. They should have an active social media presence, an extensive network of industry contacts, an eagerness to appear on camera across multiple platforms, and know how to craft an engaging tweet. The ideal candidate doesn’t wait for stories to be assigned to them. Instead, they proactively pitch stories, and are always looking for reliable sources and interesting angles on tech-related news topics and talkers. And – this is important – their copy should be immaculate. The tech reporter will report to Mashable’s deputy tech editor.

• A detail-oriented writer who can generate compelling story ideas and write strong and engaging headlines

Salary Range: $88,400.00 - $132,600.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. The Work:
+ Conduct research to obtain relevant data and define client needs or problems

+ Facilitate executive sessions to assess and drive adoption of new strategic directions established by the team
+ Impact analysis of current operating models and digital/technology transformation
+ Produce quantitative analysis, including data analytics and financial modelling, and present case team findings to client management
+ Provide solutions to complex problems requiring an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives to analyze situations
+ Support the development of comprehensive technology strategies in the following areas: IT opportunity assessment, investment portfolio management, operating models, information/sourcing/ enterprise architecture strategies, target architectures, best IT practice process frameworks & delivery models
+ Support senior clients and assist in establishing and implementing a vision, roadmap and governance to address present business needs and support future growth
+ Identify where clients can leverage IT for greatest strategic impact, defining a target IT architecture that supports business requirements and reduces costs
+ Continuously develop skillsets and remain up to date on innovative solutions, as well as provide coaching for junior consultants inside the practice
