To be successful as an elementary math teacher/tutor, you should possess a thorough understanding of effective teaching practices. Our ideal candidate would be able to establish a lively learning environment while also being sensitive to the psychosocial requirements of the students.

Responsibilities
• Virtually host and manage classrooms, via Zoom. Be able to competently use a variety of zoom features.
• Be able to learn to use a variety of virtual gaming platforms during class to supplement lessons.
• Plan and present lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of introductory mathematical concepts, such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication etc.
• Prepare and distribute learning materials.
• Explain mathematical concepts in easy and understandable terms to the students.
• Grade assignments in a timely manner and provide feedback when necessary.
• Pay attention to students to improve performance and kindly address behavioral issues.
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment.

Experience/Qualifications
• 2+ years experience teaching children.
• Must have a firm grasp at teaching introductory mathematics, including addition and subtraction, division and multiplication tables, and other math concepts, with a particular aptitude for multiplication.
• Ability to plan and present lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of introductory mathematical concepts, such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication etc.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Requirements
• Must have their own laptop or desktop computer, a Mac or Windows product, within 5 years of age, along with, supported hardware and software.
• Must be able to install Zoom.
• Must have a well-lit and quiet location to host classes.
• Working hours are flexible but teachers must uphold the hours that they choose to host classes.

• Should have a cheerful and friendly demeanor, a positive attitude and a presentable appearance
• Passionate and confident about working and talking with young students and their parents
• Comfortable with managing classrooms, remotely
• Comfortable with diverse students and different learning abilities
• Able to work collaboratively and flexibly with others
• **Please note: Pay is firm.
• This job pays $16 per hour of class time. Classes range from 25-60 minutes and the pay will be as follows: $8/30 minute class, $12/45 minute class, and $16/hour long class.

I am looking for a skilled designer to created characters, backgrounds, and such for a booklet I'd like to create with 10 of the games that I selected.
