Max's Tavern specializes in American fare with a focus on steak and seafood dishes using the highest quality of ingredients. The restaurant has an outdoor seating area and private dining room for special events.
As a Dining Room Manager, you create a positive impression on our guests, making them feel welcome both on the phone and in person. You have influence over their dining experience, ensuring the quality of service and guest satisfaction expectations are that of the group.
The ideal candidate will assist with the following tasks:
• Ensure the restaurant has smooth dining room openings and closings
• Able to operate a successful dining room during high volume times
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, focusing on small and large details creating a refined guest experience
• Provide strong leadership and direct supervision to the staff, handling any issues promptly within our policies and guidelines
• Handle cash outs according to company and state procedures
• Ability to respond quickly to a guest's need, provide genuine hospitality with a friendly demeanor
• Lead, manage and train staff, on exceptional service to guests
• Facilitate communication between the Chef and service staff as needed
• Ability to give and welcome feedback to help improve policies while supporting everyone's needs within the restaurant
• Accurately follow proper sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant
• Conduct interviewing, hiring and disciplinary actions as needed for Front of House staff
• Engage in employee recognition and promote team building within the restaurant
• Lead pre-meal meetings noting specials, changes and opportunities for development while highlighting positive reviews from guests
• Ensure Covid-19 protocols are being adhered to by staff and guests
• Be knowledgeable of the beverage training, involvement in menu and wine tastings
Requirements
· 2-5 years experience in an upscale restaurant environment as a Manager or Lead Supervisor
· Knowledge of menus, food and beverages of high quality standards, also knowing allergens
· Ability to interview applicants for positions
· Demonstrated track record of successful restaurant sales and private events
· Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, highly effective communication skills and an unwavering attention to detail
· ServSafe & Tips Certifications are preferred or completed within 90 days of hire
· Resy & Toast (Micros) experience is preferred but not required
· Passion for restaurants and hospitality is a must

Charismatic, passionate, fitness-orientated professional with leadership skills wanted for the highly successful THE MAX Challenge. Part-time, hourly position available to begin ASAP. Available same hour every day a MUST, open availability in general a huge plus. At THE MAX Challenge we cultivate an atmosphere that engages and motivates members to strive for greatness through the... careful molding and support from our instructors. We are looking for someone who shares in the same values and will embrace the culture of THE MAX.
Must be able to inspire and lead like a ROCK STAR a class of 15-60 people, fast learner, autonomous, self-starter that has a passion for fitness, changing lives and inspiring others. Seeking those with exceptional people skills, able to generate close-knit relationships, and those who possess the "IT" factor. This position is for a responsible, organized entertainer who can put on a show and execute an amazing workout plan.
EXPERIENCE
• Kickboxing or fitness instruction experience a plus but not necessary.
• Background in Aerobics/Cross fit/Martial Arts/Boxing/Dancing/Acting/Public speaking A PLUS!
• Will train the right candidate.
• Experience in fitness membership sales, a bonus.
• Proven successful leadership skills.
• Coaching/Motivation ability highly sought after.

COMPENSATION
Hourly pay range $20-$25 per class, paid training, paid required MAX instructor certification, positive family atmosphere work environment.
