Your Role:

EMD Electronics in Savannah, GA is seeking a Chemical Operator I. In this role, you will be part of a motivated team producing innovative effect pigments for automotive coatings, cosmetics, plastics, printing, as well as food and pharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for performing daily production duties within your production area along with the other operators on the production team. The main activities include: the manufacturing of products to ensure quality and favorable yield by following standard operating procedures, while maintaining high standards for housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance. You will contribute to Continuous Improvement at the site by submitting your ideas for improvement, sharing best practices, and participating in 5S and Lean & Six Sigma projects. You will be responsible for contributing to the site and department key performance indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities:
• Process chemicals by following standard operating procedures on equipment such as reactors, filters, kilns, centrifuges, pumps, etc.
• Assure safe and environmentally compliant operation of the production processes
• Package and transfer chemicals safely
• Monitor and maintain equipment, including adjusting controls, cleaning, and startup/shutdown
• Conduct laboratory tests and record results like pH, temperature, particle analysis, etc.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within areas of responsibility
• Provide on-the-job training to other Operator I classifications as requested

Physical Attributes:
• Working in extreme climates (high / low temperatures and humidity)
• Climbing stairs, ladders and walk long distances throughout the workday
• Moving and handling heavy objects with appropriate equipment

Shift: This will be a 12-hour rotating shift that may include days and evenings

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ year of Chemical Operations experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Statistical analysis skills
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Exposure to Lean & Six Sigma and ISO certification

Your Role

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Field Sales Associate (SA) to support the growth strategy of the division. This position is responsible for selling all MilliporeSigma's Life Science products to include Sigma-Aldrich Chemicals and Millipore filtration products at Academic and Research Hospital accounts in Boston, MA and NY. The Associate Sales Rep works under direction of the Sr. Account Manager to maintain and grow the assigned academic accounts. The Sales Associate acts as a daily liaison between our customers and the company.

The SA is responsible for implementing and executing defined business plans and associated activities that are deemed necessary to achieve all sales goals and sales forecast. The SA will work as a team together with the Account Manager to determine and assign appropriate activities and opportunities for this position.

Position Responsibilities

• The SA will complete all necessary administrative requirements based on established timelines. This will include, but is not limited to, pipeline management, maintaining necessary corporate databases, responding to, and sending necessary communications by email and phone. Attending all required meetings and teleconferences, and others as assigned by the Regional Manager.
• Exercise good time management skills in implementing and executing successful plans of action that balance your sales activities with customer needs, distribution needs, and purchasing agent needs and strategic account development.
• Remain driven and self-motivated as you will be strategizing as a team but often executing on your own.
• Maintain a high level of technical and application competence and utilize this knowledge in a manner which will enable him/her to add value to our products and services, to promote and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Maintain effective and professional communication in the field and with internal contacts in the company.
• Manage the overall distribution relationship within your territory to include - but not limited to - account POA’s (Plan of Action), business reviews, and training.
• Travel for national sales meetings and training sessions as required to meet the sales objectives.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific discipline (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry) OR Business discipline (e.g. Marketing, Finance, or Operations)
• 1+ year of experience working in a Life Science laboratory at an academic account OR 1+ year of experience in Life Science or Chemistry research and/or laboratory experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sales experience
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation

Your Role:

The Commercial Marketing Manager for the Cannabis Customer Segment is responsible for driving short and long-term business plan execution for cannabis testing, processing, and manufacturing customers in North America.
