Under the direct supervision of the Director, Compliance this position contributes to the Bon Secours Mercy Health mission and vision by managing acute and provider revenue cycle compliance initiatives to identify and mitigate emerging governmental and payer revenue cycle compliance risks to the ministry. This position assists the Director of Compliance to perform tracking, trending, and reporting of data analytics to help identify risks and establish proactive monitoring initiatives and is responsible to manage the performance of assigned work plan audits, management requests, due diligence reviews and responses to governmental audits and inquiries.
Essential Job Functions
• Works collaboratively with the Director, Compliance on creating auditing and monitoring protocols that align with Bon Secours Mercy Health's overall compliance audit and compliance responsibilities relative to acute and physician revenue cycle services performed for Bon Secours Mercy Health.
• Oversees acute and provider compliance audits including work plan items, management requests, Merger and Acquisition due diligence coding audits and assessments, and responses to governmental audits and inquiries.
• Assesses and makes recommendations to improve internal controls and policies and procedures for both acute and provider Revenue Cycle operations including the development of SOPs.
• Develops acute and provider compliance monitoring and audit protocols specific to revenue cycle compliance risk areas highlighted by the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Medicare, State Medicaid, State Insurance Fraud, Managed Care or Governmental Value-Based payment programs or other enforcement agencies on behalf of Bon Secours Mercy Health.
• Coordinates periodic review and analysis of Bon Secours Mercy Health provider claims denial reports, operational assessment reports, internal quality control reviews, internal and external third-party claims payment peer analysis systems to detect provider-billing trends, potential fraudulent or abusive billing practices or vulnerabilities indicative of potential underlying operational compliance issues.
• Utilizes data analytics techniques, statistical analysis and modeling, and databases developed internally, or in conjunction with other third-party vendors to detect and trend potential claims and billing compliance issues.
• Assists in the development of corrective action plans (CAP), oversight tools and technical edit enhancements to support acute and physician revenue cycle services operational efforts. Assists in tracking of all activities related to recovery and repayment of inappropriate payments discovered as a result of claims audit or investigation.
• Maintains awareness of regulations and current industry changes that may impact healthcare physician revenue cycle services domestic and international through personal initiative, continuing education and peer-to-peer networking
• Ensures that the Director, Compliance is apprised of local, remote and client-network emerging issues, adverse outcomes and/or deficiencies that could impact Bon Secours Mercy Health's public status.
• Develops educational content and trending of non-compliant activities to enhance proficiency and competency, understanding of standards and the consequences of non-compliance. Prepares multi-faceted oral, written and electronic communications and presentations to facilitate discussion, networking, decision-making and proactive responses to meet current and emerging challenges among affected parties and entities

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative. May be assigned duties as instructed to affiliate ultrasound programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs all diagnostic Ultrasounds as per Department P&P
• Selects proper technical factors for each patient as per departmental protocols.
• Practices sterile techniques, and observes infection control procedures at all times.
• Responsible for ensuring all new sonogram technologists are completing protocol checklists during orientation and are deemed competent to do all departmental exams by radiologist, administration and lead
• Develops and maintains staff schedule, on-call schedule and holiday schedule in KRONOS.
• Utilizes EPIC to prioritize the upcoming schedule for all patients including but not limited to ER, IP and Out Patients.
• Responsible for documenting patients studies in EPIC. Manages orders accurately and follows all PACS & QA/QC processes including scanning US exam patient information sheet
• Responsible to maintain, monitor and mentor US imaging in EPIC, MERGE & Clario
• Responsible for documentation and maintaining correct dates and information of 2 Trophon books
• Responsible for PM maintenance of equipment, recording service calls, ensuring all service calls are completed in addition to documenting and filling all service reports for respective machine in log book
• Responsible for the ordering of unit supplies, surgical supplies and high disinfectant (Trophon) supplies.
• Responsible for modality orderliness and cleanliness.
• Responsible for instruction and competency of students with school affiliation.
• Assists with issues of schedules and or protocols with staff techs
• Provides information/input for performance evaluations and goals.
• As Lead tech, department expectations are dedication & leadership
• Utilize email Daily as communication to modality staff members, and all department staff. Ensures the use of email by all modality staff
Qualifications:
Education:
• High School graduate, some college, education courses desired.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasound.
Experience/skills:
• Three to five years experience in Ultrasound, with Lead experience preferred.
• Precise decision-making and good judgment are necessary in the handling of each patient.
• Good judgment is needed to appropriate eliciting of medical decisions.
• Attention to detail is a must since there is a great deal of independent action involved in the process of each patient.

• Safely transfers patients between all surfaces as instructed by therapist/assistant
• Provides appropriate guarding of patients during ambulation as instructed by therapist/assistant

• Observes patients' response to treatment physically and psychologically and reports any changes to therapist/assistant
• Maintains a clean safe environment for patient care
• Maintains all logs as required (OT fridge, hot pack, cold pack, washer/dryer, paraffin, splint pan, crash cart)
• Maintains inventory of therapy supplies and submits orders in a timely manner
• Maintains professional relationships with staff, patients, families and students at all times
Qualifications include:
• HS diploma or equivalent

We currently have openings available for Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalists to join our dynamic team. New York State Licensure and residency training in Pediatrics is required. Our Pediatric Hospitalists provide care to pediatric patients from newborn to adolescent age group.

• Must be able to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), provide basic nursing care to patients, performs EKG and phlebotomy and assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
• Ability to transfer patients to other units and run errands, especially to pharmacy and the lab, are also required.
Qualifications:
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Completion of OR/Surgical Technician program.
• Certified as Surgical Tech with certification through NBSTSA required
• Minimum of one year related experience required
Salary Range
USD $37.00 - USD $43.00 /Hr.
