Position Overview:

Machine operators will lead the transition / change over between production runs on various CNC machines such as lathes and mills then operate selected machines through the remainder of the production run while ensuring quality has been met.

Day Shift – M-F, 8-10 hours/ day

Night Shift - M-Thu, 10 hours/ day + 15% shift premium

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assist machine shop personnel in completion of assigned work.

Clean up and move production parts throughout the shop.

Follow written and verbal instructions.

Measure and record values from parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment as needed.

Perform routine tooling and fixture changes on machines.

Select and use proper tooling for job based on information supplied.

Must also be able to translate blueprint for measurement purposes.

Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds, sit and stand for long periods.

Inspect to print.

Perform basic math calculations.

Work within tolerances greater than or equal to +/- 0.015

Other duties as assigned by supervision.

Job Skill Requirements:

One to three years’ machine shop experience or equivalent.

Must have good communication skills to perform duties as required.

Possess ability to interpret blueprints for tolerances and geometric callouts.

Prior inspection of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, etc.

Education:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Computer Skills:

Basic Computer skills are helpful, but not required. On-the-job training will be done in this area.

Reporting to the facility leadership, the Planner/Scheduler is responsible for prioritizing the Scheduling & Planning organization. This role is accountable to ensure that the overall operational master schedule, order delivery plan and tactical action plans to meet customer delivery schedules and financial targets is developed, communicated, and met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Revenue stream prediction and reporting for the facility - weekly, monthly, and annually

• Assist with schedule development and implementation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

• Define and communicate cross functional action plans to meet production and delivery commitments

• Provide direction to the Scheduling & Planning Organization to ensure the core responsibilities of the department are met:
• * Movement of orders throughout the shop including, but not limited to
• * Material management to align with work order release.
• Oversee documentation preparation - work order printing and router review.
• Schedule job starts and providing daily queue list updates to Operations.
• Managing schedule for changes due to rework, replacement or expedite requests.

• Production status management - participates in daily production meetings and provides order level status review in support of weekly targets.
• Customer order status management - provide details to support customer open order status reporting to weekly schedule.
• Future look/forecast - provide 6 week rolling analysis of open backlog to enable management to understand demand requirements.
• Capacity management and staffing recommendations - provide information to operations management to identify potential conflict in meeting order commitment dates.
• Inventory management and cycle count accuracy - provide needed plant level support to operations accounting to maintain accurate valuation
• Other duties as assigned by Senior Management

Machinists are highly skilled professionals who have the ability to work from customer drawings and specifications to MIC work instructions, and manufacture parts and assemblies that meet all dimensional and quality requirements. MIC machinists are constantly improving their own skills and techniques to improve productivity and quality levels. They are team workers, responsible not only for their own work but for the success of their team and of MIC. Machinists work to achieve the requirements of the Lead person, the Manufacturing Department, and the MIC Quality Policy by applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•Measure and examine completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.

•Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

•Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

•Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock to display placement of cuts.

•Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs.

•Maintain proper coolant levels and mixture.

•Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.

Job Skill Requirements:

•Have successfully met and demonstrated for a minimum of five (5) years all points of a Class B CNC Lathe Machinist and has successfully met all requirements to be considered a Class A which are as follows:

•Must be considered an expert in all aspects of CNC Lathe machining.

•Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

•Must demonstrate the ability to operate both Vertical and Horizontal CNC Lathes.

•Must demonstrate ability to work with programming and engineering staff to setup and prove out new programs and tooling.

•Must demonstrate ability to hold precision tolerances at exemplary production and quality levels.

•Must be capable of coaching and training new team members.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager leads multiple new product launch (NPL) projects from start to handoff to Operations. Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will develop and maintain program schedule, monitor critical path items, anticipate schedule conflicts, prepare necessary resources in advance, and follow up regularly to ensure overall program schedule, budget and quality adherence. While every team member “owns” quality, the Quality Manager is the champion of excellence and has the responsibility and authority to develop, manage, and maintain the Quality Program and Quality Management System and provide Engineering support for special projects. The Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring the quality of the products and services provided by the Company, inspiring a culture of collaboration towards excellence and shall address internal and external quality issues as required.

Key objectives for this role:

· The Quality Manager provides direction, support, and resources to the Quality Department. Responsibilities of the Quality Department include inspection, inspection/test equipment, calibration, quality audits, and maintenance of quality records. The Quality Manager shall keep current on the latest quality methods, techniques and equipment.

· The Quality Manager will provide quality support for the plant and throughout the Company as needed, and is responsible for developing and implementing quality training. The Quality Manager shall promote an environment of continuous improvement throughout the Company and is responsible for maintaining the Company’s ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System in compliance with the latest ISO requirements.

· The Quality Manager will also provide direction for all measurement methodologies to include CMM and NDE of various modalities assuring proper Level 1 and Level 2 certifications of necessary team members.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Quality Manager is responsible for driving root cause and corrective actions and is also responsible for instilling the problem-solving methodologies in the organization that improve the cost of poor quality.

· The Quality Manager is responsible for receipt, dissemination and awareness of new and revised controlled procedures and documents for the Quality Department. The Quality Manager will implement and maintain a documented, robust, identification and traceability procedure to include requirements for maintenance required customer traceability markings.

· Quality Manager is responsible for training and development of their team.

· Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Engineering/Technical Degree or equivalent.

· Minimum of 7 years experience in quality and/or manufacturing.

· Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.

· Training in ISO 9001/AS9100.

· Certified in at least 1 NDE modality

· Excellent communication skills.

· The ability to lead and motivate the manufacturing team.

· Knowledge of mechanical inspection and manufacturing processes.

· Substantial experience reviewing detailed blueprints and understanding of GD&T

· Data analysis skills including the ability to create and use Histograms, Scatter Plots, and Pareto Charts.

· Experience in project management a plus.

· Computer skills required include Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel

Purpose

This position would be manually engaged in the operation and maintenance of the gas distribution systems with primary responsibilities to include the following: customer service, field operations, compliance related operations and maintenance, leak surveys, Cathodic Protection and system/equipment upgrades. More specifically responsible for measurement, instrumentation and control activities for meter and regulating stations on transmission and distribution systems and facilities, as applicable. All work to be performed in accordance with Company regulatory and safety procedures.

Accountabilities
• Performs the basic level functions required to operate, maintain, test, and calibrate measurement and/or instrumentation and control facilities and systems.
• Assists with basic functions related to large diaphragm, turbine, rotary, orifice, ultrasonic and coriolis meters.
• Assists with basic functions related to RTU and other SCADA equipment.
• Assists with basic functions related to communication circuits and equipment such as radio, modems, satellite, land lines, etc.
• Coordinates and performs measurement tests with third party companies to ensure measurement integrity and accuracy.
• Inspects, tests, calibrates and maintains electronic correctors, EFMs and other electronic measurement devices.
• Inspects, tests, calibrates and maintains natural gas quality analysis equipment such as samplers, chromatographs, hydrogen sulfide and moisture detection equipment.
• Inspects and replaces orifice plates to maintain measurement accuracy consistent with natural gas flow requirements and conditions.
• Inspects, tests, calibrates and maintains electronic meters and flow measurement devices.
• Executes scheduled gas measurement equipment inspections, tests, calibrations and maintenance.
• Inspects tests, calibrates and maintains gas odorization equipment.
• Operates and maintains natural gas sampling equipment and instrumentation
• Monitors natural gas quality to ensure contract compliance and initiates enforcement actions when needed.
• Investigates operational balancing systems, and implements appropriate actions to continuously improve results to satisfy desired targets.
• Assists by reviewing information provided by internal systems related to lost and unaccounted for gas.
• Perform Leak Survey’s and with knowledge of leak survey equipment, processes and procedures.
• Maintain and have knowledge of Cathodic Protection systems.
• Investigate Cathodic Protection system shorts.
• Must participate in the MIC Skills Assessment/Promotion Process including baseline assessment.
• Performs activities to ensure responsiveness to natural gas and other emergencies.
• Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
• May be required to hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency call outs, and occasional extensive hours.
• Is subject to reporting outside regular work area.
• Identifies, addresses, and reports safety and encroachment issues to their resolution and completion.
• Is responsible for the safe operation and inspection of assigned Company vehicles and equipment.
• Demonstrates support for and adheres to the Company’s values, strategies, policies and procedures and exhibits the core values of Customer Service and Safety and the Company’s Code of Conduct both as an individual contributor, team member and/or leader of others.
• Must become familiar with the contents of the Safety Manual, live by the spirit of its intent and become involved in creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Must complete all required safety training.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent and
• Must obtain and maintain any other required OQs and classroom training or certifications within six months.
• Requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Company standards.
• Requires advanced knowledge of various software applications and multiple technologies to create documents, reports and/or graphics.
• Requires the ability to communicate with internal/external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information.

Working Conditions
• Work requires entry to customer premises.
• Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate and temperatures, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders, roofs, attics, and under houses as well as confined spaces.
• Requires extensive travel.
• May have residence requirement due to call-out response time.
• Works as an individual contributor and/or as member of a team.
• Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.
• Requires the acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of smell.
• Must be able to lift tools, equipment and materials up to and including 60 pounds
• As a Safety-Sensitive position, pre and post-employment screenings, including but not limited to drug testing as outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks are required.
