Requirements

· Good debugging, timing analysis, and problem-solving skills

· Must possess good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

· Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to other verification peers.

· Familiar with analog/digital simulation tools, ie. HSPICE, VerilogHDL, FINESIM

· Basic understanding of CMOS circuit design is preferred

· Previous work experience in DRAM memory related fields is a plus

· Experience with SystemVerilog Assertion (SVA) is a plus.

· Experience in UVM Test Bench preferred

Education

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, is required

Your job duties will include wafer and component level circuit debug, device characterization for improved operation and testability, and detailed DRAM analysis to improve end-user performance and reliability. Other responsibilities include circuit simulation, failure analysis, assistance with both internal qualification and customer implementation, yield optimization, and Test program development at wafer, component, and module steps.
The Product Engineering role is critical to Micron as it serves the company's charter to be the most cost effective producer of DRAM memory. This position is for a 3-month summer internship.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Course work in VLSI, semiconductor process, and C/C++ is desirable, but not required.

Storage Business Unit (SBU) collaboratively develops strategy and coordinates the daily operations of SBU pricing, strategic planning and roadmap program management.

Manage a team of four direct reports to deliver the following:

Planning
• Drives the SBU strategic plan development, including the marketing scan, strategic intent, white papers, and executive preparation for presentations.
• Drives collaborative process with GMs and their teams to develop strategic plan for client and data center storage.
• Develops strategic pricing strategy to guide multi-year SBU strategy.
• Works closely with Corporate Strategy Team to develop strategic plans.
• Develops strategies that are cascaded into feasible tactics (inquisitive goals within SBU and ensures they are supervised and delivered.

Pricing
• Develops and drives a vision for the pricing team, including collaboration strategies for and with Sales to improve revenue and margin.
• Develops and implements procedures to respond to all price requests within required time frames. This includes setting service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring that the pricing team regularly meets these.
• Maintains, extracts, and analyzes data developed from metrics, analyses, and report formats to facilitate the organization’s use of information; develops analytical insights to guide the pricing strategy and pricing books.
• Provides support to SBU and Sales through the delivery and/or preparation of pricing recommendations and analytics in a consistent format. Develops ongoing reports and analytical views for communicating information that helps General Managers and the Corporate Vice President understand and approve the recommended pricing strategy.
• Develops and presents SBU pricing updates in Executive Pricing Review.
• Model to forecast average sales prices (ASPs) over multiple years using inputs from SBU TAM model.
• Pricing system controls to ensure compliance within pricing guidelines passionate about driven pricing and margin analysis.
• Participates and provides input and analysis for corporate projects/initiatives (Pricing Council and EPR).
• Maintains and publishes regularly scheduled Price Books.

Roadmap Program Management
• Drives SBU roadmap approvals twice per quarter as part of the planning process.
• Manages the weekly Change Control Board (CCB) for client and data center storage
• Publishes the external roadmap once per quarter.
• Drives the material and reviews for the CBO quarterly roadmap reviews and handles the action items from that review.
• Updates SBU on the status of the SSD programs once per week in the SBU business ops meeting.
• Seeks ways to improve processes and efficiency for all aspects of the team.

Micron is seeking a Director of Global Trade to lead an international team of compliance and operations professionals. The Director will provide strategic, operational, and legal mentorship regarding Micron’s export and import trade compliance program, including adherence to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) regulations and programs, economic and trade sanctions programs, Trade Agreement Act (TAA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, other applicable import/export laws and regulations in countries where Micron has operations. The Director will partner with Micron’s Legal Operations team to build out automation and data analytics to enhance the trade compliance program.

Role Description:

Reporting to the VP of Compliance & Ethics, you will partner with leaders across the Company to provide mentorship on trade compliance regulations and operations, enabling the business to navigate sophisticated international regulatory landscapes in a pragmatic way.
• Drive the creation and maintenance of trade compliance policies & guidelines.
• Provide guidance and advice to ensure Micron and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and partners comply fully with all applicable trade laws and regulations, including the EAR, OFAC, and other sanctions programs, TAA, CBP, and other U.S. and international regulations.
• Advise and lead on drafting strategic export licenses and other regulatory filings.
• Advise the development of the trade compliance program’s continuous improvement activities, including compliance assurance and risk assessment programs.
• Supervise legal, regulatory, and trade developments that impact Micron’s business and deliver clear and timely legal guidance to mitigate impacts.
• Direct, develop, and implement risk-based trade compliance trainings and communications.
• Collaborate with various business functions (including colleagues in Legal, Finance/Tax, HR, Internal Audit, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales, and Corporate Strategy) to understand their business priorities and build integrated upstream and forward-looking trade compliance processes.
• Own the development of trade compliance roadmap and strategic planning; and
• Promote a business culture of trade compliance and ethics and conduct other compliance activities, including benchmarking, as appropriate.
• Background Qualifications
• 5+ years of in-house experience as a trade professional
• 12+ years of practice in a law firm/accounting firm or similar or as an in-house attorney combined, with trade focus.
• J.D. or accounting degree equivalent degree from an accredited professional school
• Licensed to practice law in the United States preferred (California or Washington D.C.) but will consider professionals with significant sophisticated trade experience at semiconductor companies.
