We specialize in personalized medicine by using comprehensive lab work, personalized diet change and hormone balancing for both men and women. We treat a myriad of different disease states, from diabetes to auto-immune disease.

We are located in Forney, TX and Addison, TX.

We require 1-2 years experience in a related field for all applicants. Experience using QuickBooks and Cerbo (MDHQ) would also be preferred.

Ideal Candidate:
• Must work well with others and be able to foster a positive environment for both patients and staff under any and all circumstances on a day-to-day basis.
• Must enjoy working on a collaborative team that emphasizes the respect and support of each position within the practice.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to mediate between providers, support staff, and patients while also effectively communicating office policies, billing policies, and general customer service to our patients in a concise, positive way, both in-person and via email.
• Must have outstanding organization and multitasking skills as it relates to the daily operations of both the front and back office.
• Must be able to prioritize projects appropriately and create a day-to-day office flow that is efficient and timely.

Front Office Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Kindly greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
• Scheduling patient appointments by effectively coordinating patient and doctor schedules, ensuring that all appointment slots are filled and that any no-show time slots are appropriately handled.
• Confirming patient appointments in a timely manner and preparing them appropriately for their visit.
• Checking patients in for their visit - collecting the appropriate paperwork needed for the provider and updating any personal information as necessary.
• Checking patients out for their visit - collecting payment for services and/or nutritional supplements, and scheduling follow up visits.
• Maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Taking inventory counts of medical supplies and placing orders as necessary.

New Clinic Expansions
• Maintain strong knowledge of market competition with a focus on driving reputational excellence

The Role:

• THE WELL is seeking a Wellness Guide.

• The Guides are responsible for maximizing the revenue of The Club through effective scheduling, yield management, and sales. As an Ambassador for THE WELL, this role ensures outstanding anticipatory service for all members and guests at the reception desk restaurant and wellness retail area.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Sales
• Maximize revenue of treatments and programs through effective scheduling, yield management. Contribute to the team’s overall targets and strive to achieve personal targets and goals as set out by the Management team.Maintain a sound treatment and retail knowledge with the ability to accurately describe benefits and prices.Encourage guests to return by recommending an ongoing treatment program, inviting guests to rebook.Responsible for all billing procedures at the reception desk and the correct reconciliation of funds at the close of each shift and at the end of the day’s work.
• Guest relations:
• Maintain the highest standard of guest service by following THE WELL’s protocols and displaying genuine care and attention to detail.Conduct club tours for all guests as requested. Act as an Ambassador for THE WELL at all times.Consistently record guest preferences, accurately updating guest profiles and communicating any relevant information to colleagues.Ensure confidentiality at all times including data protection, medical details and any information provided in confidence by the client.Report any guest complaints to the Manager on Duty so that they can be handled promptly and effectively.
• Reception standards:
• Organize scheduling of appointments to maximize use of time and profitability while ensuring that the guest's needs are of first importance. Obtain and accurately record all relevant member information including contact details, credit card details, Prepare all guest correspondence and administration as per brand standards and ensure excellent presentation.Respond to all guest communication(s). Provide information on club facilities during tours including benefits, and health and safety. Maintain the cleanliness, presentation, organization of the reception area at all times. Ensure that adequate supplies of all public information material are available and are in immaculate condition. Record and track turn away business and repeat guests through the club software system.Prepare the reception area for the start of the next shift, ensuring all messages are communicated and carry out a detailed passover. Answer telephones within three rings and in a professional manner, following THE WELL’s brand standards. Liaise with other club departments to ensure guest needs are met and communicated.
• Health & Safety:
• Day to day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness.Receive training on all relevant legislation pertaining to the Health and Safety at Work Law and Health and Hygiene standards.

General:

• Maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene. Follow uniform standards at all times.
• Always be punctual and prepared for daily shifts.
• Support all departments including covering hostess stand and spa attendant duties as and when required.
• Must adhere to training as determined by the Head Guide and attend all training courses as deemed necessary

NYC Health + Hospitals is seeking a level II psychologist to be an integral part of an interdisciplinary, facility-based lifestyle medicine program and adult primary care practice. The lifestyle program is designed to help adult patients living with chronic cardiometabolic conditions adopt healthy lifestyle changes across the pillars of nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connections, and avoidance of risky substances. Clinical criteria for referral include atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, hypertension, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, and/or health concerns related to obesity.

The psychologist will provide psychological support to patients in both programs and work closely with the programs' medical providers, registered dietitian, health coach, coordinator, and community health workers SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides psychological evaluation and support to patients engaging in intensive therapeutic lifestyle change (50%) and adult primary care practice (50%) Addresses psychopathology, body image, self-esteem, social support, and quality of life stemming from chronic medical conditions Evaluates and provides therapy for conditions that include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, PTSD or other histories of trauma, disordered eating, chronic pain, sleep disturbances, illness anxiety, specific phobias, and adjustment to disability, etc. Creates a safe, therapeutic environment for patients with obesity and other chronic health conditions. Utilizes motivational interviewing techniques to support lifestyle change and manage medical conditions Participates in the development of treatment plans in coordination with the medical provider, registered dietitian, and health coach Develops differential diagnoses for patients and ensures proper referral to MD or behavioral health department for medication evaluations as needed.

Coordinates with a psychiatrist when needed in managing patient's overall care. Participates in and leads various group meetings, including but not limited to emotional eating, mindfulness, stress reduction, body image, and support groups. Provides documentation of clinical services as per departmental guidelines Assists with case management needs for a complex population that faces many barriers in the community Participates in continuing education and/or other appropriate activities to maintain current licensure.

Undergoes training in nutrition and lifestyle medicine as offered by the program Through attendance at workshops, conferences and seminars, keeps up to date on Emerging advances in the psychological care of patients engaging in intensive lifestyle change Psychological theory, treatment, and testing approaches designed to maintain and/or increase population-specific therapeutic and diagnostic assessment skills Supervises psychology interns and externs, Level I psychologists as assigned by the Director of Psychology. Participates in psychology staff meetings and educational functions. A Doctoral Degree in clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Health Psychology or Neuro-Psychology, awarded upon completion of a Doctoral Program in Psychology registered by the New York State Department of Education and designated as licensure qualifying; and B. One additional year of satisfactory full-time experience, either as a Psychologist for the City of New York, or in a supervisory capacity in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Clinical Health Psychology or Neuro-Psychology in an approved agency or institution. SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The duties of the Echocardiogram Technician level II may include, but are not limited to:
• The ability to perform all of the major duties and functions of an Echocardiogram Technician including but not limited to Transthoracic echocardiogram, bubble study, strain imaging, Definity and stress echocardiogram.
• Performance of pediatric cardiology studies as trained.
• All laboratory duties delegated by the Director of Cardiology.
• Delegation, when warranted, of specific responsibilities to the technical and/or ancillary staff.
• Operation and maintenance of the laboratory equipment.
• Supervision of sonography students.
• Working collaboratively with the Medical Director, medical, nursing, administrative and technical staff to ensure quality patient care. Responsible to maintain current technical training for his/her position to include at the very least 30 hours of echocardiography related continuing education over a period of three (3) years, and all hours must be relevant to echocardiography; participate in the echocardiographic departmental conferences and in quality assurance activities; and yearly accumulated continuing education must be kept on file and available for submission upon request.
• Appropriate credentialing in echocardiography from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.

Department Preferences
• Valid certification in Sonography issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); and
• One (1) year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist

CERTIFICATION(S)/LICENSE(S):

Must have appropriate credentialing in echocardiography from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A High School Diploma or GED.

KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:

Registration, Scheduling, EPIC, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Word. Excellent Customer Service Skills a MUST!
