Several factors may be utilized to determine your hourly rate including but not limited to years of experience and specific skillsets compared to employees in this role. Candidates typically start at the lower half of the estimated range.
• This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility.
A Copywriter should have a passion for solving problems through creative ideas and words. They exhibit authority in copy-related decision-making and their ability to lead on smaller project initiatives. They are able solve client objectives in unique ways, craft interesting headlines, and write engaging copy across a diverse range of projects and products. Self-starters and inventive by nature, they have a hunger to learn and innovate. They know how to collaborate with team members and inspire those around them.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret creative briefs along side creative, strategy, and account teams.
• Understand client goals and requirements, technical constraints, and able to work within project parameters.
• Develop original creative concepts and unexpected creative solutions.
• Able to present client objectives and creative solutions persuasively to internal teams.
• Support and further enhance existing creative concepts.
• Execute idea based on established style guides, especially tone and voice.
• Oversee writers to ensure quality of work and final deliverable on small to large projects.
• Support and participate in creative presentations to clients.
• Engage and take initiative in all aspects of the project.
• Mentor and inspire junior writers.
Requirements:
• At least 3-5 years experience coming up with rich interactive brand, campaign and ecommerce experiences. Traditional experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Creative Writing or related field.
• Portfolio that represents a wide range of creative approaches, diverse projects and a clear voice across the work samples.
• Solid conceptual skills a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and can articulate creative concepts to the internal team and clients.
• Understand the possibilities and limitations of digital and mobile technologies.
• Intermediate-level understanding of Word and Excel; basic understanding of Outlook, Keynote, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to take feedback and apply to the work effectively.
