Speaker and Marketing Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Invite and confirm speakers for virtual events and conferences.
• Collecting speakers’ headshots, contact information, biographies, bullet points, etc. for upcoming events.
• Input speakers, topics, and descriptions into MoneyShow Database for website listing and the final agenda.
• Collect speaker topic titles and descriptions for the final agenda. Proof-read and adjust to our house style.
• Ensure event marketing website is ready to be published 30 to 120 days out—selecting featured speakers and featured presentations. Proof-read all copy.
• Create marketing tracking links and coordinate with Art Department and Marketing Department for speakers’ promotional materials: social media images and HTML templates.
• Send tentative schedules and Zoom links to all speakers including speaking times, location, and hotel information if necessary.
• Distribute marketing materials to all speakers and advertisers, securing a variety of drop dates including but not limited to HTML promos, social media promos, website promos, newsletter promos, etc.
• Create PowerPoints that the MoneyShow Hosts will use while they moderate the Virtual Expo.
• Send thank you emails to all speakers for participating.

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who excels at turning design into functional websites that walk the line of innovative. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
Responsibilities
• Light back-end development
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Intranet/Extranet/Internet website maintenance
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Production code deployments
• CMS implementation such as Umbraco, Wordpress, Drupal
• Work directly with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate content
Skills and Qualifications
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Excellent ability to manage timelines and be self-directed
• Master of responsive design methodologies
• Basic experience with code repository systems such as BitBucket, GitHub
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
