What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for an super organised, go-getter Supply Chain Assistant to join our bustling e-commerce fulfilment warehouse located in Tamworth on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Supply Chain manager, you’ll be responsible for all Inbound activities, working closely with the wider Supply Chain team and Operations function. As Supply Chain Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, timely and accurate Supply Chain administration.
Key Responsibilities
• Inbound slot management, including keeping our inbound booking tracker up to date.
• Managing our bookings inbox, tackling queries and prioritising to keep things running smoothly.
• Working with our suppliers to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and ironing out any kinks with service providers.
• Completing the daily stock reconciliation, highlighting any discrepancies..
• Making sure SAP is kept up to date with the previous day’s receipts for all our warehouse locations, and raising purchase orders as needed.
• Coordinating transfers of stock between sites, including consumables and off-the-shelf (OTS) gifts.
• Running daily reports.
• Helping to shape our future offerings by assisting in the development of data-driven products.
• Keeping our systems’ master data up to date, including setting up new skus.
You'll be a good addition to the Operations team if you:
• Have at least 1 year’s supply chain experience, ideally in stock and inventory management.
• Are highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
• Can communicate effectively with a wide range of people from inside the team to external partners, both verbally and in writing.
• Are self-motivated and driven to get things done.
• Are tech-savvy, particularly with ERP systems, MS Excel, and whipping up reports.
