RESPONSIBILITIES: The Financial Aid Counselor provides the day-to-day counseling and processing functions to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial aid. The Financial Aid Counselor is responsible for counseling students and families, awarding, reporting, and reconciliation of various financial aid programs. The Financial Aid Counselor Analyst must be familiar with university, state, and federal financial aid regulations and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree and demonstrated experience in customer service and problem solving. Must have ability to analyze and interpret data. Financial Aid experience preferred. Experience and technical expertise with word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, integrated information systems, and associated hardware. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree preferred. Financial Aid, Student Services, Student Account or related background preferred.

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Six years of experience in one or more skilled trade disciplines of carpentry, electrical or plumbing, or four years of experience in one or more skilled trade disciplines of carpentry, electrical or plumbing, and completion of 1000 hours of advanced education or vocational training in one or more skilled trade disciplines of carpentry, electrical or plumbing, or two years of experience in one or more skilled trade disciplines of carpentry, electrical or plumbing , and completion of 2000 hours of advanced education or vocational training in one or more skilled trade disciplines of carpentry, electrical or plumbing. Must have the ability to communicate well with faculty and staff. Must be in good physical condition. Valid Kentucky driver's license required.
