Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with colleagues on all parts of the process, from discovery, definition, development, and delivery
• Owning all parts of the design process on assigned projects
• Design and plan for product improvements/features while considering the future needs of our software
• Create site maps, wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, task flows, and other artifacts to visualize and communicate design direction
• Make and articulate decisions around information structure and relationships
• Able to Plan and lead product discovery/design efforts while balancing time and scope constraints to make deadlines
• Conduct, analyze, and communicate user research; these may include user interviews and usability testing, etc

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Design, Communication Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering/Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of relevant professional experience designing for software, web, and/or digital products
• A background in UX design, information architecture, product design, or similar design experience
• Solid understanding of UX design principles and user-centered design
• Experience planning and conducting research activities, such as user interviews and usability testing
• Experience working with design systems
• Experience with or an interest in financial topics or investing is a plus
• Design facilitation experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of Figma, Adobe design suite, Microsoft Office 365, and macOS preferred

Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with PMs and other engineers to lead the development of our systems and services.
• Help build maintainable robust systems that can scale nearly infinitely.
• Help architect and troubleshoot our systems to ensure stable and reliable operation even under high volume.
• Help improve the overall skill level of the team with a good understanding of software engineering best practices.

Qualifications
• Friendly and enjoys working in a collaborative team with excellent spoken and written communication skills. Humble, honest, and to the point.

• Deep experience with at least one programming language. If this deep knowledge is in Python, that is a plus, but deep experience in any language (e.g. Java, C#) will do.

• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools. Terraform is a plus, but any tools in this area such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

Day to Day:
