Responsibilities:
o Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations o Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments o Monitor systems to ensure maximum uptime and quality of service for service delivery o Improve system monitoring and alerting to improve incident time to resolution while decreasing false positives o Improve systems logging and benchmarking to fine tune applications and gain better insight into system issues and performance o Evaluate tools and processes to support new development and technology initiatives Your Corporate

As a Managed Services Center (MSC) Software Engineer I you will be a part of a collaborative development team focused on custom developed tools that enable sales, streamline operations, and focus on overall customer experience. You will work within the MSC development team, as well as work collaboratively with other MSC teams as well as with subject matter experts outside the MSC. The team tracks development requests in the form of user stories in Jira and implements an agile development methodology with regular releases and enhancements driven by user feedback. The MSC development team plays a critical role in how ePlus sells and how customers experience Managed Services. o Enhance/add features to existing custom developed tools as assigned by Manager, working through existing backlog of tickets o Build new custom developed tools, when the need arises, per user stories detailed in related Project Charter Document o Follow established team development practices/procedure as it relates to sprints, code repository usage, code review, gathering Beta User feedback, submission to Change Control Board (CCB), etc. o Engage resources in and outside of the MSC (when needed) to gather information needed to code, and/or answer users' questions o Participate in daily Scrum meetings setup by Manager o Provide feedback to peers as requested, as well as request feedback from peers o Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments, as required o Help to maintain server environment used within our group. o Evaluate tools and processes to support new development and technology initiatives o Self-motivated and willingness to self-educate o Works well within a team environment Your Corporate
