We are looking for a creative and organized new team member to take on this entry-to-mid-level experience role, and focus on designing, developing, and delivering compelling and effective learning experiences to our teams. The individual will report to our L&D Manager and work full-time onsite at our corporate office in Salt Lake City.

Job Summary

Content creation for training, resources, corporate communications, and promotional items.

Research and development for learning and programs that meet company needs.

Development of program objectives and their deliverables that carry meaningful and change-effective messaging to employees.

Outputs (written, graphic, spoken) via multimedia, text, online and physical channels

Use of various software platforms and tools, vocational and professional skills, life competencies and more.

Training channels include: general workplace standards, processes, tools, leadership and management development, discipline-specific competencies

The Job Details

We are looking to bring a new team member onboard who will immediately focus on programs that we are developing. We are excited to get these items built into training and resource-rich deliverables.

Every team member is also involved in day-to-day operations and decisions, we values everyone's ideas and input. These programs are also long-term and will help us expand L&D's offerings and value that will touch every employee in the company.

No two days are ever the same! As an idea, here are some of the things the new team member will be

engaged in each week:

Focus on own products/programs

Involvement in every area of L&D

Participation in intake and overall project development

Production and presenting live training/updates

Working with employees to answer questions and provide materials on-demand via our own service platform (L&D built that too!).

Work with partner teams to learn needs and develop content.

Collaborate with team on other projects.

Liaise and inform L&D Admin to report progress and delivery.

Learn and master our backend processes to administer delivery platforms.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrable understanding of learning principles.

Impeccable grammar, spelling, writing, copywriting and editing skills (will be assessed as part of interview process).

Typical Environmental Conditions

Indoor office environment and production studio. Small team setting, sometimes background music or media playing, occasional live training broadcasts are happening, group discussion and brain-storming (we love whiteboards) and frequent food/snacks. We are located 5 blocks east of downtown SLC.

Travel Requirements

We are looking at visiting some of our branches (US/Canada) to learn and also use for A/V recording purposes. Travel isn't required but could happen.

The Regulatory Details

Physical demands and requirements for the normal job/task activity consist of sitting, typing, walking, standing, hearing, seeing, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
