The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for a bright, energetic, self-motivated Senior Database Administrator focused on customer-facing production infrastructure. This is a hands-on position and will work closely with the Operations, Engineering, and Support teams. What You'll Do
• Use backup and recovery best practices to ensure systems are protected from data loss in compliance with established business continuity and DR practices
• Define, develop, and deploy system monitoring requirements/thresholds as well as corrective actions

• Extensive experience resolving moderate to complex DB performance and capacity issues, replications, etc.

• Extensive experience working within structured change management processes
• Experience with process automation as it applies to the provisioning of resources within DB Engineering
