Summary Primary responsibilities will include supporting the Development and Membership initiatives, researching potential partners, maintaining databases, effectively communicating with potential and current partners, and collaborating with other NAESP departments to provide partner deliverables.
Processing membership transmittals received from state affiliates.
Update membership information, ensure dates are correct, update states about duplicates, etc.
Processes membership purchase orders, credit card, and check payments received by telephone, mail, or e-mail.
Answers phone, responds to inquiries, and/or forward calls as needed.
Works closely with supervisor, membership manager, and the accounting team to ensure accounting and membership data, reporting, and processing is accurate and done in timely manner.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answers phones, responds to membership and partnership inquiries, and forwards calls.
Research potential strategic partners that align with NAESP.
Coordinate quarterly emails to potential partners.
Schedule introductory, informational calls for supervisor with organizations.
Follow-up on partner-sponsor inquiries.
Maintain database with pertinent information.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure partner deliverables are met.
Prepare updated partner tracking document and participate in monthly partner calls.
Ensure partners that attend sponsored events, such as the NAESP Pre-K--8 Principals Conference(TM), have their deliverables.
Assist with state affiliate batch processing, including entering, updating, and preparing batches transmitted by state affiliates.
Follow SOP for processing and updating members in database.
Oversees processing new, renew, and reactivated memberships daily, focusing on state transmitted memberships with support for direct payments.
Maintains accurate address corrections and other member changes.
Reviews batch transmittal reports to verify processing information advises state affiliates of changes to submissions.
Generates and reviews report to ensure accuracy of membership data.
Responds to membership inquiries by telephone, mail, and e-mail.
Ensures proper tracking of prospective member inquiries and correspondence.
Applies check payments to membership accounts as needed.
Accepts and processes credit card payments by telephone, mail, and e-mail, as needed.
Responds to publication claims and reshipments generated by telephone, mail, and e-mail and updates member/subscriber profiles.
Works with accounting to resolve any batch, payment, and/or related problems for state associations/batches.
Assists state leaders and/or member processors with questions.
Assists with membership mailings and marketing projects.
Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience Minimum accurate typing speed of 65 wpm.
Familiarity with computer-based membership systems along with previous association experience desired.
Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Word processing and data processing experience with demonstrated attention to speed, accuracy, and detail.
Excellent communication skills, some accounting experience, pleasant telephone manner, and good human relations skills are essential.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently and on a team are necessary.

Summary: The Digital Media Specialist is our champion in sharing and amplifying the narrative about NAESP, whether it is key organizational milestones; research, advocacy, and policy statements; or the latest success story about principal leadership. We are looking for a creative, self-starter who can take the content whether written, video, or visual and share it online in ways that inspire action.

This position is directly responsible for the development and execution of visual communication strategies video, photography, and social media to improve member awareness and engagement in NAESP programs and initiatives.

Reporting to the ED and AED, Communications, this individual will also work closely with other members of the Communications Team in the implementation of a strategic communications plan. This role also requires cross-team collaboration to support the association s other strategic focus areas: membership, advocacy, professional learning, student programs, and member recognition.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Maximize the exposure of our key content (professional learning, articles, awards, news, events, etc.) through social media and other digital means, bringing alive our work, mission, and impact in creative and compelling ways.
• Manage NAESP s social media networks, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Monitor, analyze, and report social media metrics and develop and execute organic and paid social media campaigns.
• Develop a variety of visuals (video, photos, and infographics) to enhance our social media, digital, and marketing content.
• Explore new digital tactics to boost the overall awareness and reach of NAESP and its programs, including email marketing, banner advertising, and other vehicles.
• Manage photography and videography projects, including photo shoots, photo galleries, slideshows, and videos.
• Support communications and marketing planning. Develop and document promotional strategies and timelines.
• Assist in content development (blogs, emails, e-newsletters, website) and visual communications (video, photos, graphic design) as needed.
• Educate staff and volunteers on digital communications.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
• Demonstrated success with social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), utilizing both organic and paid campaigns to build community and achieve organizational objectives.
• Knowledge of common social media software/tools (Hootsuite, Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Creator Studio).
• Social media advertising experience (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
