Responsibilities include:

• Develops, reviews, revises and updates specifications and procedures as well as conducts data and quality assurance checks for reports and publications as assigned or developed. Works with programmers in ensuring proper and accurate data. Analyzes results and creates written analysis based on the results as necessary. Adds value to publications by creating analysis in Tableau.
• Understands property and casualty insurance concepts and terminology in order to understand the data points needed for analysis and how to trouble-shoot data quality concerns.
• Assists with state data calls by contributing to the development of the data specification and validation rules as well as receiving and reviewing data. Aggregates and manipulates data to create meaningful reports. Seeks out and utilizes credible outsourced data to add value when possible.
• Uses insurance knowledge and analytical skills to determine what data is needed to answer regulatory questions. Uses statistical or visualization software to present the data in such a way that regulators and others can answer such questions.
Staff Support
• Provide support to Committees as necessary to execute data collection and reporting needs of state regulators.
• May provide primary or secondary staff support for select Working Groups.
• Works with Department programmers and other staff to develop new reports, databases and other data resources for regulators and the public to use for analytical purposes.
• Creates and supports training for state regulators of business intelligence tools developed as a result of reports and data collection projects.

Skills and Abilities:

• Primary administrator of the Cvent software, the current application for NAIC registration.
• Develops and deploys event registration platform for NAIC meetings and events, including creating invitations, event overview documents, and other related resources.

• Posts event registration payments and works closely with the Finance Department to ensure proper posting, balancing, and reconciliation.
• Maintains event department pre- and post-event reporting. Periodically runs various reports for management review.
• Produces event materials including name badges, registration packets, and attendees lists for each event.
• Prepares shipment boxes for NAIC meetings and assists with inventory management.
Customer Service and Support:
